Jeong’s POV
The thought of relaxing was cut short when Jeffrey continues to sit there waiting for everyone to leave. He really isn’t going to let this go now is he. Only Jeffrey, Gerald and I are left in the room. Jeffrey lifts an eyebrow motioning to Gerald expecting me to ask him to leave. “There are no secrets between Gerald and I. Whatever you intend to speak about can be said in front of him.”
“Very well.” Jeffrey sits up looking at me square in the face. “What is your real purpose? You can’t expect me to believe it’s just to train them for a potential scenario. I went along with it because I know you’re a man with a purpose. Now tell me what is really going on here.”
This man holds a lot of weight, if he changes his mind it will severely hurt our cause. “I hope you don’t think I would purposely start a war and put everyone in danger.”
