Leon slammed his palm on the poker table, leaping to his feet as he shouted, "What the hell? How can a person like that be in Lormford City? Tell me his name and where he is! Anyone who dares to mess with my woman will end up as minced meat!"
Cecilia, looking pitiful, said, "I'll come find you. We need to talk this through."
Leon's eyes darted as he replied, "Sure thing, babe. Come to the same hotel. I've been missing you. It's been a while since we had some fun."
Cecilia felt her face flush and quickly glanced at her friends, worried they might overhear her. She hastily hung up the phone.
Once the call ended, a sinister smile spread across Cecilia's swollen face.
"Leon is determined to turn that guy into mush today. I have to go find him, but I'll catch up with you all later."
Her friends exchanged glances, and Xandra bit her lip. "Cecilia, I really think you should drop it. That guy might really just be laying low. It's probably best to let it go."
