Twenty seven

“It’s about the secret between Arthur and William.” She says, making me halt and I turn to her.

“How are you here?” I ask staring at her, “and not in jail?”

“Would you believe me if I say I escaped?” She asks, and I know she’s telling the truth.

A pitiful smile appears on my face as I stare at her. “You really have gone low Ashley, still I’m not surprised, and I expected it. But did you seriously think I’d be that gullible?”

Ignoring my question, she asks, “Are you going to listen or are you going to gloat?”

“There is no secret between them Ashley, and you are dumb if you think William and Arthur are gay.”

She stares at me ridiculously and shakes her head in pity. “You really are dumb. Anyone with eyes can see that they are both straight men!” she says, pointing at the obvious.

I rest my argument, since the secret she wants to share is not about their sexuality. “Then what is the secret?”

“You.”

“Me?”

“Yes, you.”

My brows furrow. “How am I a secret?”

She scoffs and her eyes

Few errors here and there, but I didn't expect to be enjoying this book .. Even the blurb i couldn't depend on for an idea. Totally not disappointed now😉
