Chapter Forty Three
Shelly was aware of everything that was happening around her but she didn't want to open her eyes anytime soon. She didn't want them to know that she was awake and that she could hear them. She just wanted to die but the horrible death was not forth coming. She was scared that once she opened her eyes and saw them then she would lose her will to die.
Her heart hurt more than any other part of her body. She was very sad and upset. How could life deal with her so badly and then leave her to live in pain it had rather ended her life than to make her spend the rest of her life pining for Ace, not just the one person she couldn't have but the one person that didn't exist.
All the moments and time spent with him was the best and it was like an eternity. She had not loved Chase the way she love her imaginative Ace and now... now he wasn't real.
