I'm gonna ruin you!

                      CHAPTER 5

                        *SOPHIE*

I hurriedly walked into the office. God, I am so late. 

"Hey, Sophie," Some of my colleagues waved at me and I smiled. I sat on my table and turned on the PC.

"Miss Sophie. Mr. Liam wants you in his office now" OMG! what does he want again?

"OK." I stood up from my seat and followed her closely behind. 

I got to the door of his office and knocked on it. "Come on," his hoarse voice commanded.

"Good morning sir," I greeted but no response.

"Good morning sir," I greeted again but he ignored me completely and continued with his work. 

Why did he call me in the first place when he knew he was busy? Meanie, Troy is obviously better than him. 

They literally have the same character though. I wonder how Aurora is gonna cope with him?

"Sir, if you are busy. I should take my leave and come back later." No response. 

Okay, is he deaf or something? I walked to door and proceeded to open it but his voice stopped me.

"Did I ask you to leave?" he yelled.

"No... I-I... No..."

"Come over here," I grumbled inwardly and walked to his table.

"You do know how important it is to come to work early, don't you?" he asked without sparing me a glance. Is he going to punish me for late coming?

"Yes... s-sir... I..." why I'm I stuttering?

"But you chose to come late to work?" Why is he acting like I'm the only one who comes late to work? 

Besides, I always go early to work apart from today. Why does he like behaving like an asshole?

"My friend had an interview so I had to drive her to work,"

"Aurora?"

"Yes,"

"But the fact still remains you came late and I'm gonna have to punish you,"

"But sir..."

"Shhh," he pushed a file to me. I picked it up and read it carefully.

"My sister's company is gonna hold a grand exhibition, but are currently short of sponsors. I want you to talk to Mr. Troy Marshall to sponsor the exhibition." 

This is really a punishment. Troy doesn't look like someone who has intrest in arts. I may loose my job for this.

"Sir Mr. Troy is doesn't have interest in arts. I don't think he would agree to it. Why don't I talk to other sponsors?"

He smirked. "I want Mr Troy and no one else. Don't tell me you can't do it cause I hate incompetence,"

This man is so mean. Why should I talk to sponsors for a company I don't work in?

"With all due respect sir, why do you treat me this way?" I suddenly asked. Geez, Sophie. You should think before saying something.

He stood up and walked up to me. We were just a few inches apart and we were literally breathing the same air. I stared nervously at him and said,

"Never mind... I should lea..." 

"You know the reason why. Why do you refuse me Sophie?" 

I forgot to say, this man has been into me for some months now and he doesn't look like someone who is gonna give up anytime soon.

When he saw I wasn't giving him any attention, he started acting cold to me. I hate it when he acts this way to me.

"I did tell you that I had a boyfriend." I looked up to him. Damn, he's really tall and maybe cute, but I don't think I find him attractive.

Maybe, I do but I am just ignoring it? No way, I don't.

"But, I want you," he whispered and tucked my hair to the back of my ears. He wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me closer to himself and I gasped. 

"Uhmmm... I..." I trailed off as he leaned closer and closer to me. Is he going to kiss me? 

Our lips were just inches apart and I closed my eyes in anticipation for the kiss but it never came. 

I opened my eyes slowly and saw him smirk. God damn it Sophie, you've been fooled. I can't believe, I wanted him to kiss me.

"It seems you want me too,"

"I should... leave" I tried to wriggle out of his grip, but he held on tight to me. Sophie what have you gotten yourself into?

"What are you..." he shut me up with a kiss that made my heart skip a beat. I didn't kiss back at first, but I did when he shoved his tongue into my mouth.

I moaned softly and unconsciously wrapped my hands around his shoulders, and kissed him back. I felt him smirk against my lips. You shouldn't be doing this Sophie. I tried to stop myself from kissing him, but I couldn't.

Within seconds, we were kissing like crazy. Like our lives depended on it and I couldn't stop him anymore. He stopped kissing me and stared at me as we tried to catch our breath. Why did he stop?

"I love you Sophie. Be my girlfriend please? And don't say no this time," he whispered as I stared deep into his eyes. 

This isn't the first time he is saying 'I love you' though. I still don't understand my feelings for him, it's kinda of confusing.

I'm not supposed to be doing this anyways since I have a boyfriend, but he's just so hard to ignore.

Sometimes, I get scared though cause I don't want what happened to Aurora to happen to me. 

"How about I think about it?"

He smiled softly maybe because this the first time I'm not saying 'no'. "Fine by me."

Someone pushed the door open and I quickly freed myself from the compromising position but she had seen us together already.

Henrietta Santos my major rival and enemy in the office. She thinks I'm a threat to her and did everything possible to get me out of the company but she always failed.

She used to bully me a lot. I guess it was because of my soft nature. She thought I was weak but all that has changed now. 

There was a time she had beat me up and when Aurora found out about it, she came to the office the next day and gave her the beating of her life. 

That's my bestie for me, she cares so much about me. She does have an innocent face and rarely brings out that beast in her, but when she does no one can stop her.

It caused a major commotion in the office that day and I thought I was gonna get fired, but I didn't. That was when Liam first noticed me, and took interest in me.

"Don't you know how to knock?" he asked angrily.

"I'm... sorry sir," She glared at me.

"I should leave," 

"About the sponsorship, you still have to give it a try though,"

"OK," I gave her a defeating smirk before leaving.

On getting to my table, I sat down and began my work for the day.

"How slutty can you be? You have a boyfriend yet, you still chose to sleep with your boss?" I raised my head to look at the ant talking. Of course, it had to be her.

"The last time I checked, I didn't sleep with your boyfriend. Maybe you are just jealous that he had to look my way and not yours," I gave her a faux smile.

"I see you really have grown wings because you are sleeping with the boss. I don't think your boyfriend will be happy to hear this,"

"I don't think you really would be able to say all these things if Aurora were here. Remember she beat your ass up the other day," One of my colleagues Rina teased and they all laughed at her.

"This is isn't the last of it all of you!" she stomped her feet in anger and walked out.

"Thanks guys," I smiled.

"She deserves what she got anyways, she acts too high and mighty,"

"I agree with you."

                    *AURORA*

"Mr. Troy wants you in his office now."

"Oh, okay," I proceeded to walk with the clutches but I almost tripped. Luckily, Sandy was by my side to prevent me from falling.

"Aurora are you okay?"

"Uhmm, yeah,"

"You should be more careful,"

"Hey, miss you need help?" A guy asked. He looks kinda of pompous and maybe cute. You can't judge a book by the cover anyways.

"Yes, can you carry her to the CEO's office?"

"Yes," 

"Wait what? No way. I can walk there myself,"

"Aurora!"

"No... hey what are you doing?" I yelled as he lifted me off my feet.

"I'm Wyatt by the way," he smirked.

"I don't wanna know your name, just put me down,"

"Not happening. You are quite heavy by the way," he winked.

"You..." I pointed my fingers at him.

"What? Do you find me attractive?" he smirked. So full of himself.

"In your dreams,"

"Awwn, you guys look so cute together," Sandy squealed. What the hell!

"Yeah, we do,"

"No, we don't. Now, put me down,"

"Sandy, please help carry her clutches," he ignored me.

"OK."

"Hey, put me down. Will you?" I tried to wriggle out of his grip, but he was stronger.

"Stay still Aurora," Sandy winked at me as we entered the elevator.

"I hate you for this,"

"Aurora huh? Beautiful name for a beauty like you,"

"Awwwn," Sandy cooed.

"That doesn't freak me at all,"

"Trust me it will soon." Douchebag.

"Can this elevator not go any faster?"

"Okay put me down now," I said as we got to the entrance of Troy's office.

"I will take you in,"

"What do you want?"

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is I know your type, pretending to be good just to get into my pants,"

"Aurora!" Sandy muttered.

"I may not know what you went through in the hands of some men, but I want you to know that not all men are the same,"

"Yeah, right. Feed those lies to some other girl,"

"Are you gonna stand in front of my office and gossip or are you gonna come inside?" His cold voice echoed out. Who else if not Troy?

"Put me down," I tried to get down but he wouldn't let me. 

Sandy opened the door and I stared at his beautiful office. It had a large bay window and I could see many tall buildings from here. What a beautiful sight.

In the office was a beautiful plasma TV, a refrigerator, a beautiful peach couch and nice office chairs too.

He raised his head up and stared at me, and then Wyatt who was carrying me in his arms.

The look on his face kinda of changed. It's really hard to decipher what he's thinking. 

"Put me down now. This is embarrassing," I muttered.

"You both can leave. I want to speak with Miss Aurora alone,"

"OK boss." He put me down on a chair opposite Troy and left with Sandy who dropped my clutches with me before leaving.

"You are late,"

"Yeah right? Like you are not the person responsible for my lateness. You know I am not okay yet you still asked me to come for the interview. Meanie,"

"I take it that you are quite a flirt. Just an interview and you are already flirting around," How dare him?

"I am not a kid but a grown up woman and who I flirt with is none of your business,"

"You picked the wrong company to work in Aura, cause I'm gonna ruin you," he growled in anger.

Ruin me? What does he mean by that?
