Parents are a weird concept. Like two people made three. And that’s pretty cool but then you also get that undeniable feeling of wanting them to love you. You wanting to be around them. Even if you haven’t seen them in years. There’s just this undeniable bond that flows through people. Werewolves.
Hayley’s POVAudrey had found her mate. It still had me gaping like a fish but it was actually true. My little girl I had hardly known for two weeks had found her special someone. We had gushed about it last night while I taught her all about popcorn and other Disney movies. We spent most of our time together… except when she was with Ethan.
“Audrey!?” the voice was shrill, laced with distress as the young girl rushed through the woods, her eyes darting around the trees and greenery. She was clutching the small dress in her fingers, the plan to dress her daughter in it a distant thought. Behind her, her husband came running up, looking around with eyebrows knitted.“Where is she?” he asked, “Audrey! Come on little girl!”
