Chap-51*An Old Friend*

“Then don’t watch the TV,” Mrs. Tim hated the sight of Hope. She thought of her as a burden, just like Delilah.

“My mother pays the bills so,” Hope uttered her breath, but successfully catching Mrs. Tim’s attention.

“What the hell did you say?” Mrs. Tim bent down in a threatening manner, expecting Hope to take her words back and apologize.

“I said what I said,” Hope replied calmly, leaning back on the couch and keeping her eyes on the TV screen. Mrs. Tim straightened her back in annoyance, deciding what to do with this spoilt brat. That’s when her petty mind decided to wash off this kid’s entire happiness from her heart if there exists any.

“That’s why your father left you and your mother.” Mrs. Tim was proud of herself when Hope turned the TV off and swirled her neck to her.

“You know my father?” poor Hope didn’t know the intentions behind Mrs. Tim
