Chapter 10: Big Boss

Damon pulled over at a small modern Cabin, it was certainly built a few months ago as if he read my mind he introduced this place to me.

"This is 'The Shack'. The first place I have ever owned with my own hard-earned money."  I raised my eyebrows. Him, a job, unbelievable, you could tell me something more believable like a bird breeding with a pig.

" Yes, my lovely Jenny, I work." My mouth twitched when he said 'lovely' yet I didn't say anything. 

"Indeed I borrowed some money, but it was worth it. I mean look at the view, wouldn't you buy it?" 

"No, because my Dad has bought many Apartments as 'Gifts', not to brag but they are all in extra cool places." He rolled his eyes in annoyance and smiled at me.
