"What?" The lady uttered in shock.

"Take today off!" He moved to her and said it loud enough for everyone in there to hear.

Nathaniel hopped out of the elevator and went straight into his office as there were a pile of files to work on.

"Ava?" He pressed the intercom that connected to her but he didn't get any response.

"I thought she'd be here already" he mumbled, rubbing below his nose as he dialed her line through his phone.

"Sir?" She picked up instantly and judging from her voice, she was running towards somewhere.

"Where are you right now, did you forgot that.…

"Mom prepared a whole bunch of dishes for you and I was trying to pack everything up and bring it to the office" she rasped impatiently.
