Dear readers, today is the 18th of January, 2023, and I'm sorry that it took me so long to submit this, but this book is at this moment on hold, it has been for a while now because honestly, I don't know where I'm heading with this story and just had to take a step back to see the bigger picture. I'm currently preparing other projects to get around that inspiration to complete this book, although I've thought of deleting the book, I couldn't, soon I hope to bounce back from this writer's block and complete this book. Heat Vol 2 Chapter 36
PREVIOUSLY ON HEAT VOL 2 Jake was awake the entire night after putting Ashley to sleep. She clings to him trying to reassure herself that he wasn't going to leave, which broke Jake's heart. Although it was Ashley's idea, he was angry at himself for being away from her. He had this incredibly annoying gut feeling the night before meeting Melissa. Instead of following his gut, he delayed himself and left her alone to deal with this horrifying misfortune.
