Chapter 1 Accidentally You ( Acquaintance)

Bettina Pov

  I found my self lying on the floor. Seeing my boyfriend and my best friend doing a intimate scene on the bed.

“What’s the meaning of this Justin! Rosa!” my lips are shaking as well as my hand. I felt a cold wind blowing on the back of my neck.

“What the fuck are you two doing?! What’s the meaning of this!” I pointed my finger to the both of them. I saw Rosa make a smirk on me.

“Are you asking what are we doing? Well it’s pretty obvious my dear! Do I still have to explain it to you?!?” Rosa spoke and I really felt intimidated seeing her in a blanket and lying on Justin’s bed. I really felt hurt why is she doing this to me. She is my best friend since junior high. She knew how much I love Justin.

“Why Rosa!?! Why did you do this to me!” Im frustrated of all people “Why you Rosa! You are my best friend!??” suddenly I felt a strong grab on my arms Justin pulled me out of the bedroom. He stared at me I saw anger in her eyes.

 “Don’t make a scene here Bettina! Can you please just go home!” clenched 

 “A scene?! Am I the one whose making scene! Justin are you stupid. You and Rosa are cheating on me! I deserve an explanation! No you owe me an explanation!" my voice are starting to get high since I felt betrayed they making me look like an idiot. I deserve an explanation for this well in fact it’s pretty obvious that they really make me look stupid. But since when?!

“When?! Do you really want to know Bettina! I think it still not obvious for you I lost every attraction to you. How can I be with a girl who is a murderer! You remember that your patient died because of your pride and stupidity! I am a top lawyer I will be caught dead seeing dating a Murderer!”

  A loud slap lands on Justin’s face. “How dare you saying that to me! You knew everything Justin. I didn’t kill anybody. I didn’t do any cause for my patient death. You knew that he’s body is not accepting the operation.!!!” My tears started to fall why is Justin being like this! This is not the man I used to love. He is evil!

"Here we go again Bettina!!" 

Beep! Beep!

  That’s where my consciousness came back. I saw myself lying in the middle of the road. I step on the rocks and slip. My ankle hurt so bad.

 “Oh my God Bettina! You're over thinking again, forget those shit!” talking to myself.

   I saw a man went down on the car in front of me. He went straight to me asking If I’m okay!

 “Are you okay Ms.?! Hmm Do you need any help?” no any words coming on my mouth, I keep on massaging my ankle not even thinking I was in the middle of the road.

 “Excuse me Ms.! Is it okay If I ask you to move on the side of the road?!. Do you want me to help you to move??!” the driver was in a uncomfortable situation since I didn’t mind to speak with him.

 “Oh Okay here! It’s not much but I hope it can help. My boss asked me to gave it to you!” He handed me a money which I felt insulted.

   I raised my head and look ar him. I shove the money back to his hand angry and insulted.

  "I don't need money! I didn't mean to block you but I can't walk my ankle I think I got sprained I need help!? Can you help me move to the safe side of the road!?” I asked him and he immediately help me and offer to bring me to the nearest hospital but I refused again and said I will be fine.

   I am a Doctor I am a Surgeon but I look like stupid and idiot. “What happen to you Bettina! You lost every guts on yourself! Wake up Bettina!”

   I saw a Man went down the car in front of me. But before he reached me, a 2021 BMW X5 stop beside me. I was frowned because of the car lights is shinning. I saw my old acquaintance, a person I used to love and hated the most. "Justin Andreas"

Miguel Pov

  Miguel Rojas is handsome and successful. He is one of the Director of the biggest oil company in the City. His grandfather always want him to find his future wife, but he didnt take it seriously. He is the only son of late Miguel Rojas II. His father died when he was 10 due to Cardiac Arrest. When his dad passed away he inherited all his fathers asset and at the young age he was trained thoroughly to be the future leader of the company. While he was still young his grandfather take charge of the company until he will be in the legal age to manage it. He grow with a lot of respect to a woman for this is always his grandfather told him. “You will never be successful if you don’t know how to respect a woman. A good woman will always lead you and mold you to become a good man.

   I was been this cool in everything. I learned to manage my emotion as well as my temper. Even if my grandfather always set me on a Blind Date I find it awkward but still I let him do that I know he just want me to be happy again. Yes! Again! I lost all those sense of happiness since Sophie passed away. I lost all the reason to smile, the reason to be happy. When she left she take away all the reason in this world to me. I focused myself on work not even thinking to be in a relationship anymore.

   One day when I was heading away to my office an unexpected things happen. There is a girl sat down in the middle of the road. A similar scene that usually my grandfather ordered.  A girl in the middle of the road, a girl accidentally bump on me, a girl spill her cappuccino on me and many more. I am sure my grandfather set this things up. Shaking my head and smiling. For all I know my grandfather always want me to get marry. I will watched how long this girl will stop pretending. Until I saw a man stop beside her. I guess they knew each other since they where talking. I watch them inside my car and hearing the man laughing and insulting the girl. I cannot stood up seeing this kind of scene. Out of my curiosity I went down my car.

 Bettina Pov

  "Bettina Daze! Oh how in a world I never expect to see you again!" Justin look at me from head to toe feel pity but seeing me in this pathetic situation still make him happy. After our break up I lost everything. My credibility,  my confidence, myself. I lost all the things I been working hard for so long. He is a well renowned lawyer and he is the reason of all my sufferings.

  "What a shame on you! You had no one to blame!" he started now to insult me

   I didn't understand why Justin suddenly acting like this. Since we decided to go back together we been okay. But he changed and I guess it because of Rosa. 

   Miguel Rojas stood outside to see the fun, never imagine that this what not his grandfather's idea. 

   I stay resilient after meeting again Justin and seeing me in this awful situation. "You can get out of my way now!!" I angrily shouted him

   But Justin was not an easy person, instead of leaving me, He still insulted me "We been together for so long Bettina. I can gave you everything you want, everything  you need. I know I never been that good to you but we had wonderful memories. If you want I can take you out in this awful situation!?" smiling that makes my heart broke in pieces. Why is he doing this?! He dumped me and do everything to tear me.

   I shouted again and say "I told you I’m asking you to go now! Please I don't deserve you! All you did was to hurt me and look me stupid when all I did was to love and trust you! The nerve of you saying that to me after all you did! You and Rosa!” I am holding my tears that was what about to fall. He really changed a lot, he was eaten by his greed! talking on my mind.

  “Please Justin!! Just go!! We are better off this way!!!” “You changed a lot, You’re not the man I used to love!!" 

   Justin in return stay calm. "You can come to me. I can help you get out in this poor situation. Just be my mistress!! I give anything, everything you want, everything you need.!? I can help you to clean your name and bring back your License. You know how much I love you!!”  trying to deceive me

  "You are a jerk! I never imagine how I fall for a person like you, Shameless!!" 

 "You want me and Rosa both?! You're a greedy! Wake up! Stop your ruthless dream!!" shouted exceedingly 

   He was insulted, trampled his ego. I know I am now hitting a nerve.

   Do you ever really think I still want you to be with me?!?” You the one who stop dreaming Bettina Daze!! No one ever care for you aside from a broke old man!!" he laugh but deep down he is angry and very insulted on what I've said.

  Many people heard what I've said and it really embarrassed him. I saw the handsome man standing on the side without second thought.  I pulled him and said.

  "I don't care what you said!!” “This is my boyfriend!” I lean on Miguel's chest and held his hand. He was surprised. I am now doing a reckless thing I didn’t mind to think coz Justin was too much!

  "He is more better than you!!, he respect me and care for me!" after saying that I looked Miguel in the eyes, that look Miguel understood.

 Miguel's Pov

   I didn't want to interfere in people's life but this girl needs me. That man is a bit too much for hurting a woman. I didn't say anything but my silence means yes to her. This girl is not a woman whom my grandfather arranged for me.  But I know this girl somehow needs me and I just let go on the flow. Help her to give hope and build herself again when suddenly I heard a loud laugh it was Justin. 

  "Bettina you can't fool me! This man is what? Your boyfriend?!" haha

   Bettina was in a deep silence since I didn’t mind to say any word. She felt she was caught in the middle. 

  "Bettina oh Bettina how this man can be your boyfriend!? Look at you!!." Justin not yet done on what he's saying when I suddenly grab Bettina on her waist, slowly holding her back I held her face and kiss her. I cannot stood up what was happening, this girl don't deserve to be in this kind of situation. I look her in the eyes and kiss her deep and sincere.  Bettina eyes was wide as open, she never expect this. All she want is this man pretend to be his boyfriend but she didn't refused instead she fight back and those kiss like it was the beginning of everything.
