Chapter Twenty-Eight – My mother is a Vampire

Vlad opened the cell and walked in closing the cell door behind him. He came in with my mother, telling her to have a snack and take a taste of me, then turning to Carrie walking to her. I could see Carrie do the whole twirling her hair in her fingers batting her eyes at Vlad. My mother slowly walks over to me, her mouth salivating for the taste of my blood.  

My mother was not herself anymore, I was hoping for a hint of her being inside with her love and caring. But her eyes did not hold that feeling, they held mindless hunger for my blood, like a junkie would crave their next fix. She came closer and I backed up falling onto my bed, she started to lean in looking hungrily at my neck. I cried out, "Mama it's me Alexi, please come back to me" and a tear runs down my cheek.
