Stephen sat on a white bed in the recovery room of his house. This was the room where the injured vampires would come for recovery. Gregory was once made to rest in this very room. Everything in this room, from the bed to the cupboards was white. The windows in this room were covered with newspapers. The injured vampires could rest here and Stephen's mother would provide blood for their recovery. All the servants were strictly instructed never to enter this room. The reason was that any injured vampires may attack them because of severe thirst.
Ever since Emma appeared at his house, Stephen was worried. Emma's sister Nancy went missing and Emma suspected him to be involved in her disappearance.
