His Voice

I opened the door of my apartment. It was really damn hot, but my feet and hands are still cold. Living in the city is really hustle compare to the place were i grew up.

I'm still not used to it. I remove my shoes and put them on the shoe rack. I was just barefoot, I don't feel like wearing any slippers.

I threw myself on my bed. I can feel the softness of my bed and my body scent lingers on my pillows, blanket and bed sheets. A home!

But why the hell my brains is still bothered by something? C'mon brainy!

Knock! Knock!

"Yes? Just a minute." Who is behind that damn door? I feel so lazy to stand up.

"You forgot her!" He said while giving me the black adorable cat. Aw! Cat always has place in my heart they looks so adorable and their soft fur can give you comfort.

"Thank you! I will take care of her." I said and close the door hurriedly. I suddenly touched his finger and i felt something strange.

"You sure you're okay?" He asked me. He knocked again.

"Yea! Thanks for asking and sorry for the inconvenience a while ago." I said in a little loud tone. It's embarrassing. Damn it!

"Nah it's okay! Bye." He said. I can hear his foot step walking away from my door. Urgh! That's so dramatic and embarrassing. What's with me? Why do i need to faint for the first time in my life. Shit! I sat on the floor. I was still embarrassed by the scene that i have caused a while ago infront of them. What if they will label me as crazy bitch? Shocks! I can feel the fur of the black adorable cat on my feet. Aw! I cannot blame this cutie cat for the embarrassment that i've caused.

Wait, something is wrong! Why the hell i cried that much and felt that kind of pain? A longing? No! That can't be.

Maybe, I'm not still used on this place and im not familiar with any emotion since im just with my teacher and mother. I know basics emotion, but longing is beyond ridiculous.

I will just clean up and cook? Good idea to get rid of this ridiculous thinking.

Feeding the black fur adorable cat with a home made food made her happy. She keeps on waggling her tail while eating. Aw!

Sweeping the floor and watering the plants in my mini balcony makes me hum happily.

I started to arrange the kitchen ware, Fridge, stove, and the pantry makes me sweaty.

I cut some broccoli, carrot, cauli flower and etc. to make a dish. It's a famous vegetable dish in the philippines a "chop suey" 

Maybe, I will just toast a chicken too for my  whole day meal.

I just finish everything and it makes me yawn.

I forgot about the scenarios a while ago.

I laid down on the sofa mindlessly. I suddenly felt tired and sleepy.

"You starting to meet them huh? You're fate is already starting to begin." She said while standing in front of me facing the dark wall. Butterflies are on her shoulders and the light is so dim. Where are we?

"What? Who are you! Why im here? You mistook me." I said while trying to move my body but i can't. It seems a night mare, but its real.

"Me? How many times do i have to tell you that --" I cut her off.

"Can you please stop this nonsense and return me home?" I yelled at her. I was starting to get scared, but i won't show it to her.

"Soon, we will meet them all. Do you agree with me, Artemis?" She suddenly turned around. My legs suddenly become jelly as soon as our eyes met. How can this be possible? I gasped in surprise.

"Life is full of surprise, specially our life. Don't do anything stupid, artemis." She said while caressing my cheeks gently. She look exactly like me, but we have different facial expression. She look likes a woman with authority on her hands and the way her hand moves scream elegancy.

"You can now go back. I just missed you. Ha-ha" She laugh evilly. What's wrong with her? Is she my evil side. No. That can't be! She look at me in the eyes while disappearing.

"Aaaa- aaah!" I screamed before i could wake up. I was out breath. Who is she? Why does she looks exactly like me? Her facial features, body, voice and fingers look exactly like me. Am i already crazy?

"Maybe, Im just having a night mare or whatever. Erase! Erase! Erase!" I let out a long breath. I go to fridge to drink water and look something to eat. I passed on my new cellphone.

Ting! Ting!

* Hey! What about we continue our topic through text? Sorry if this is kinda rude, but it's really urgent.

* You mad? Let's talk next time.

* I don't have any rooms for tonight. Can i sleep there? Sorry! I'm still outside waiting if ever.

Ting! Ting! (Another new message from her)

* I don't have money with me today. Please?

"What?" I was so shocked what's wrong with her? Oh! She's an orphan, but why does she wants to be my room mate if she doesn't have money?

Oh! I didn't post the amount maybe she taught it was for free?

"She's really there." I mumbled. She's sitting under the tree looking at my window. She looks so tired. I pitied her and decided to let her in.

"Yes! Coming." She shouted at me and wave. She's running to me with a big smile plastered on her gorgeous face. She looks like a kid who's excited to be home. It makes me smile. What a beautiful sight.

"Sorry! I really don't have any place to stay tonight." She said while kissing me in the cheeks. She stretch herself while looking down stair.

"It's okay. Where have you been anyway?" I asked her due to my curiousity. She looks really tired.

"Orphanage? I'm tired. Mind if im going to sleep already?" She's yawning and stretching. She seems so tired. I couldn't resist her.

"Wanna eat something? I  already cooked," I said to her. Seventy Five percent, I want to kick her out, but the remaining twenty-five percent is dominating the seventy-five percent.

"Whoa! That's so kind of you. I will just sleep, thank you for being kind to me today. Talk to you later," She said while heading to our room. She ignore the food maybe she's really tired. If it is me, I won't ignore any food even how sleepy i am. I laugh at my thought. She didn't not even washed up. She just threw her bag to the corner and went to bed. I tsk it's a disappointing sight, but i must bear. She is now under observation.

Meow! Meow!

"Why you hungry? C'mon let's eat." I carried the cat and head to the dinning table to fill our empty stomach. I will just leave some foods on the table for her.

"What should i do next? Laundry?Hm." I was washing my plates then i don't know what to do next. I don't want to go out or remain sitting for the whole day. I can't go to my bed, she's still sleeping.

"Yeah! Right the books. Tsk! I badly want to get books, but im too embarrassed to go out what if i will meet them again? I haven't apologize yet." I intentionally bumped my head to the wall. I keep on bumping it. It's too embarrassing!

"Hey. What you doing?" A voice from behind me spoke. I was beyond surprised. My mouth was formed an big O shape along with my eyes. I was having an attack maybe. My heart beats so fast and im running out of breath.

"Ah-ah! Na-na. Ahhhhh!" I screamed.
