"What are you trying to do and why do you have to run?"
I am trying not to face Liam. I bend down my head and turn my face away so that our eyes won't meet each other.
I saw in the corner of my eye that his gaze shifted to the cake that I accidentally dropped and is now on the floor.
My blood rushed up to my head, and swear, I can imagine the paleness of my lips even though I couldn’t see it.
"I-I'm sorry..."
He raised his hand towards my face and when it and it gently touch my skin, I felt a little tickle on my body. He forcefully pulled my face towards him so he could see my eyes.
My hair covered my entire face, My eyes are stuck on the floor, still trying not to have an eye contact with him.
"Look at me..."
There was a coldness in his voice, and with the closeness of our faces to each other I could feel his breath on my skin. It was like a mint that enters my body as if it were a kind of magic that

"Maddison you're still staying in this house with your dad? We haven't seen each other in a long time ever since I left, how are you?" I heard Liam's mom and Maddison having a conversation, but I don't have the guts to look at them. I just turned my head to Liam, and this time, I had already grabbed his attention. "I'm sorry... Please just let me down..." I whispered quietly to him. He stared intently into my eyes, as I look at him, I notice that there's something. I had already seen it those stares before, I knew he's upset. His eyes turns into different pair of eyes everytime he is unhappy. My gaze was left in the air when Liam shifted his gaze to Maddison, I watched his facial expression change as his eyebrows furrowed and the tip of his eyes falls down, he looks really sad. Of course, it's her girlfriend who saw us in this kind of position. They might have a misunderstanding. It all happened because of me... and the
"You guyshelpyourselves and eat."Liam's mom invited us.It seemed that our feet were stuck in our positions because they did not want to moveoutof the embarrassment."Oh come on, don't be shy. Actually,we should be the one to be ashamedbecause of what you guys are wearing."I goteven more embarrassed by what Sybil said, which he obviously meant because I could see that he was holding back hislaughter.Liam just stared at us.His eyes moved from the top of my head and downto my feet.It was as if I had been scanned by his eyes for what he had done, but these looks slowed down on my chest and thighs.Trina, Elizand I began to sit on the three chairs reserved for us."You're sobeautiful Crystal, this son of mine really knows how to choosehuh."She happily turned to Liam who was sitting next to her.Liam's mom is in front of me now so the pressure is
I rolled my eyes across the room, my mouth hang open as I saw a familiar character.Pororo.Wherever I look I see Pororo."OH MY GOD!!! HAHAHAHAHA.'' I was ecstatic. It's so funny because Pororo was a blue and white cartoon character, he's a tiny penguin with an aviator helmet and goggles, and to see that Liam's bedroom has a blue wall covered in Pororo stickers, an alarm clock with the same pattern, a blanket with Pororo, his slippers, the window is accented with blue.Plus, those Pororo plushies on his bed. It's everywhere."I knew you're going to make fun of me, so go ahead." I glanced at Liam's entire face, even though I couldn't see it very well due to the tears that had formed in my eyes as a result of my laughter. His lips were still pursed as if heaven and earth had fallen on him.I continued to move my eyes in every corner of the room as I am over thrilled about this."Liam—" I blurted, cracking up.
“I don't want to...” I plead under my breath. I just turned my back and swiveled my head away from them. What exactly do they want, — especially Liam? Why does he feel the need to show me how he treats his girlfriend all the time? “If I told you to watch, you must watch. Otherwise, I'll bind your hands and force you to keep an eye on us. ” His frigid tones have returned, seeming to invade my body and command my spirit to obey. “W-Why...? Please… Don't do this to me... ” I could feel my eyes welling up with tears and my chest tightening as I begged. I grabbed my chest to keep my breathing under control as it became heavier once more. I'd given up hope that they'd show me some mercy, so I just closed my eyes firmly and waited for them to finish whatever they were doing. I felt heavy footsteps on my back so I turned to face who it was. ''Aaa!'' I let out a small scream when Liam snatched my arm. I tried to sneak away, hopi
"The woman you saw earlier, that's Eureka Villareal," Sybil explained, and I just nodded. “First and foremost, you should be aware that the two most powerful families in Denmark are embroiled in a bitter feud. They are great rivals. The Spencers are leading the power, energy, winery, oil, and other industries. And the Villareals, who are at the forefront of technology and aircraft.” Sybil even used his fingers to convey the story, as though he was taking it very seriously. I couldn't respond because I was still chewing on the bacon, so I just nodded. There was plenty of food, but only Sybil and I sat down to eat. There was a long table where we ate dinner with Liam’s parents last night. On one side, there is an expansive table with a wide selection of dishes. Even though it was extremely early, I felt as if I had eaten at its expensive buffet. “You already recognize Eureka because you saw her at the wedding, didn't you?” I nodded once
Crystal POV "Fix yourself," I took another look at what I am wearing. "But, I'm already dressed nicely?" I boasted, returning my gaze to my white pantsuit. It embraces my entire body so it enhances my body's curves. This outfit does not belong to me though; it was just delivered to our room. And it even includes an extravagant gold necklace and earrings, which I'm supposed to wear as well. “I'm talking about your behavior. If possible, refrain from speaking when you don't have to.'' I was unable to respond when he stepped out of the car. I want to talk to him about what happened last night... but I am afraid of how he will react. I simply followed behind Liam when he walked into the building, as he had ordered. I was a little terrified when we were surrounded by four armed men in suits, until I realized Liam was wealthy and, of course, has bodyguards. Employees were simultaneously bowing when Liam passed
Unknown Number: [Please come down for a minute; I will wait here till my legs are broken as long as you don’t show up.] “Pfft.” His SMS message made me chuckle. Okay, it might be better to go down first and see him; after all, it might take some time for them to talk to that Sam in the office, and if I stay there, I probably be a nuisance. Liam doesn’t even want me to say anything. So what else can I do? My feet began strolling towards the elevator to get down for a moment. I put up my phone and saved the unknown number and named it ‘mushroom’ on my contacts. What was the name of that guy again? I’ll just call him a mushroom for now. After all, he was always random and appeared at the most inconvenient times. “Crystal!” he exclaims with great joy when he sees me. So this is how it feels when someone is genuinely happy whenever they see you. This wa
“HELP!! OH MY GOD!! I AM GETTING ROBBED!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, begging for help. I yank my hand away from his firm grip, but he refuses to let go. “HELP! HE’S A THIEF!!” I begged even more loudly. My gaze was drawn to Liam as he exited the building. “LIAM, HELP!!!” I understand we’re in a tough state right now, but this isn’t the time to dwell on grudges. When Liam heard my shrieks for help, he dashed toward us, leaving me to strive for my freedom. “Blade! Crystal! What the hell is going on here?’’ He yelled at us and pulled Blade into his chest to get his hand out of my arm. “What are you doing!” He glared at Blade, but he didn’t answer and just bent down in front of Liam. Is he going to deny what he did? “HE’S TRYING TO TAKE MY WATCH!” I screeched. “Sir, I noticed something suspicious on Ms. Crystal’s wristwatch.” He responded as his gaze was fixed on the floor, not raisin
