Chapter 37: Heat Amelie It's so hot! I kick off the blanket. Gideon is still asleep. I try to be as quiet as possible and move to a cool spot on the bed, flip my pillow, and try to get back to sleep. Nope! Burning up! Do I have a fever? I feel fine; I'm just so hot. I get up as quietly as possible and go into the bathroom. I splash some cold water on my face, but it doesn't help.
