Chapter 24

I was sitting in the class with my head down busy scribing the pointers given by the professor regarding exams. When the siren rings indicating the end of the class everybody starts to leave the class towards the cafeteria. I watch them all go sitting in my place without any intention of leaving with them for the lunch.

I have brought my lunch from the store when I walked to the college, A protein bar, and a bottle of water. I take out the protein bar to have a bite, My stomach is growling because of hunger. I didn’t have breakfast today and tried to fill my stomach with water from morning to till now. I unwrap the bar to take a bit from it. Just when I was about to have it in my mouth it get snatched from my hands.

“What the hel-” I stand up angrily reaching my hands to take back from whoever took it from me but stop midway. Because the person standing in front of me with my bar in her hands is Susan. She has her eyebrows lifted daring me to take it
