Three

He fell into Kimberly's arms and stared at the sky then Kimberly.

"Call the ambulance." He ordered strictly even in that situation. And soon, he passed out.

*******

Kimberly called out for help and they took Damien into his car to the hospital.

The nurses assisted them and took him to the VIP ward for treatment.

Kimberly walked to the reception and sat among others waiting for someone to come out of the room and tell her what's wrong with her boss.

She remembered how he had called his papa, mama and the last person, Emily. Why would he call them with so much pain in his eyes.

Yes, she saw the way his face looked so painful.

Did he lost his family or something?

No, she needs to mind her business.

Soon, the doctor came out and looked everywhere like she was looking for someone. Kimberly knew she was looking for who brought him here. So, she stood up and walked to the doctor.

"Good morning, I'm Mr Damien' secretary. Is my boss alright now?" She asked.

The doctor smiled and patted her shoulder twice. "He's okay. That guy you're seeing is like a son to me so, I must do my very best to make him look healthy. Don't worry, he will be discharged tomo....." She didn't get to complete that sentence when Damien came out looking wet, f*cking hot as well and okay. Just as of nothing happened apart from being wet.

"If you're going to say tomorrow Mrs Thompson, then, I won't be able to wait. I have a meeting in the next two hours and I need to get there before that." Damien interrupted while Kimberly was still staring at the hot boss in front of her.

"Are you going to keep staring or you're gonna get your ass ready!?" He fired which frightened her. It made her flinched.

"Sorry, Sir. But it's still raining. You might not want to go outside again." Kimberly responded.

"It's still raining?" He questioned with a frown. Kimberly nodded.

"Yes" She replied. "You can go out and check, Sir."

Mrs Thompson chuckled at the glare Damien did at Kimberly and held his hand.

"You can't understand him right now, dear." She was talking to Kimberly. Then, she faced Damien, "Go back inside. You can go when the rain stop." Mrs Thompson pushed him back to the ward while Kimberly followed them.

Getting there, Mrs Thompson left the room leaving Kimberly and his boss.

"Go to the car and get me another suit and shirt for me." Damien commanded.

"Hmm, Sir, actually your car isn't here at the moment." Answered Kimberly.

"Why? Who returned the car back?" He knitted his brows.

"We didn't use your car to bring you here. It was another person's car. You said you don't want me to sit in your car and I need to obey, I don't wanna loose my job. We used Mr Ben's car." Kimberly explained while fidgeting her fingers.

"You used that common car? I mean, that thing to bring me here? What the f*ck!" He came down from the bed and charged towards the her then pinned her to the wall.

Oh! Kimberly nearly pee on her body. Her heart was beating like a party drum.

"A car is a car. What if you had died back there......" He cut her off.

"I can't die. I can't die the second time!!" He yelled and hit the wall hard.

"Have you died once?" Curiously, she asked. Even if curiosity kills the cat.

"It's none of your business, okay? Don't do that next time cause small thing can make me angry." He warned and left her but it seems he hasn't finish with her yet, he pinned her to the wall again, fanning her neck with his hot breath. His cold lips touched her ear.

"What's going to take us back?" He asked in a wicked tone.

"T-The ta..taxi can take us back. I don't have my phone with me, I would have called someone to bring your car." Kimberly replied as shivers ran down her spine.

Damien laughed like he haven't done that for years.

"I'm sure my phone isn't here too?" He rubbed his nose after a sniff.

"Yes."

"Where did you put it?"

"I don't know. You didn't give me your phone to hold." She answered. "It might be inside your pocket." She added with confidence.

The thunder started to strike loudly that made Damien suddenly drew his secretary closer to him. So tight like a fearful baby clinging to his mother.

"Stay like this for few minutes." He told her and she nodded. Still speechless.

Every strike from the thunder made Damien let out few gasps and drew her more closer.

Kimberly can't tell that she was choking already but he looks like he needed that at the moment.

Few minutes passed, the rain stopped and Damien loosen his grip from Kimberly. She coughed and stood upright.

"You can take the bottle water on the table there." He showed her where the bottle is.

"Thank you." She appreciated.

"Your phone....the flashlight is blinking."

"F*ck!" He swore.

He took his phone out from his pocket. It was wet but at least it was still on.

"We should get ready to leave. The fools won't even know if the weather here is bad."

Damien tried calling some people from the company but none of it was reachable.

They came out of the room and met Mrs Thompson who's coming their way. She bid them bye after giving Damien some medicine to take after his lunch.

The rain had stopped though a little drizzling but it was better for Damien.

"So, we are going to take a taxi? Have never taken a taxi before and now you're going to make me take one." He groaned.

"I'm sorry Sir. If we don't take a taxi, I'm afraid another rain might fall and you'd end up in the hospital again. This time, you might wake up two days later." No one should tell her that she's crazy. She knew that herself.

"I feel like punching the life out of your body." He growled.

A cab was coming, Kimberly had to stop it.

"Dam-Ton Company" She told to the cabman and he asked them to enter.

Kimberly was the first to enter while Damien was still standing outside.

"Are you not coming Sir?" She asked.

"The cab smells like sh!t!!" He admitted.

"You've not entered the cab."

"I don't need to enter........"

"Sir, can you look up at the sky? Another rain is going to pour. And I care about your health that I don't want you to die the second time. Can you come in now, please." She requested.

"Fine! But the car stinks." He reluctantly entered the car and the cab man drove away from the hospital.

Kimberly could hear him mumble something out.

If she wasn't mistaken, she heard him mumble,

"I don't want to die like them. I don't want to die the second time."
