The lady raised her head and it was Clara. Kimberly gulped down and forced out a smile. She dropped the cake in her hands and stepped back.
"H..How did you know it my birthday today?" Damien asked. He didn't stop staring at her.
"Mr Ben told me it going to be your birthday today." Kimberly answered. "I..I..I have to go now. I can see you have visitor. I shouldn't have bothered myself to come." She said again and ran out of the office.
Immediately, she closed the door behind her, Kimberly sighed and dropped herself to the ground.
"I shouldn't have come to the office. And me thinking he's going to be alone and I will be the one to stay by his side all night. You're such a silly girl."
She had the thought whether to go back home or stay. It already getting late. She carried herself up and walked to her small table then sat down.
