CHAPTER 2

"What did you just say?" My best friend Josh said, nearly spitting out the coffee while listening to my story.

We were sitting at the table in the cafeteria and we were having our morning break, me telling him everything that happened last night. He knew all along that Yoon Jeonghan was my handsome neighbor and he knew that I have been liking him since I transferred here.

"But I didn't let him kiss me, duh!" I rolled my eyes, telling him.

Yes, I didn't let Jeonghan kiss me last night because I was so nervous and that made me regret it. I should have got my very first kiss last night and as a bonus, it was Jeonghan! Oh, I know I was stupid.

Josh smiled, making his eyes disappear. "But you gave him your password which is HANNIE. As in his name!" he exclaimed.

I gave him my password because I didn't want him to kiss me. I still remember how my face turned beetroot last night while giving him my password. Jeonghan was grinning the whole time and even after he got out of my room, he still had this breathtaking smile that made my heart melt and didn't let me sleep the remaining hours.

"Yeah, and I was thinking of changing it but what if he barged into my room again and he'll kiss me this time?" I said as I took a small sip of my coffee.

Josh rolled his eyes. "Really Yoo-Mi? Isn't it that this was all you've ever wanted since the day you liked him?"

"Yes, he's just so perfect," I admitted and I sighed heavily, still thinking what would happen if he kissed me last night? And what would be the taste of those red lips of him.

I was smiling wide when I saw from the corner of my eye that Jeonghan and his friends were walking towards our table. "Oh my god, they're coming!"

I took a glance at him as they passed by our table and I saw the corner of his lips turn into a curve when he looked at me. I stopped breathing when my eyes met his. He's so beautiful. My face turned red as I hid my face covering it with my hair.

"Oh my god, Yoo-mi, did you see that? He smiled at you!" Josh was getting giddy beside me and I couldn't contain my happiness.

"Shut up Josh, he might hear us." I warned him because Jeonghan and his friends were just two tables away from us. I don't want him to know that we were talking about him.

Seconds later, a girl just sat on his lap and gave him a sloppy kiss. Bitch! My heart clenched and I felt like I was going to cry. I felt jealous. I felt pain.

That girl was no other than Brittany, the team's flirty cheerleader. "Oh great! That bitch just couldn't control her raging hormones." Josh rolled his eyes as he watched them kissing in front of many students inside the cafeteria.

I couldn't take watching him kissing another girl so I harshly stood up. "Let's go, Josh!" I declared and pulled his hand as we headed our way out of the cafeteria. I hate him!

I was reading my book inside my room when I heard a moan of a girl from my neighbor's window and when I looked up, my heart stopped beating when I saw Jeonghan kissing Brittany on the lips.

Oh great! Just great! I knew it was so wrong to watch but my feet wouldn't move and my head was spiraling wildly. What the fuck am I watching?

He then pinned Brittany on the window and Jeonghan was now facing me. My eyes got wider when he looked up and he smirked like he was teasing me while he kissed Brittany's neck.

I felt panic as I walked backward until the back of my knees hit my bed. I let myself fall on my bed pulling the covers right up to my chin. Why he's so mean to me? I know he already knew that I liked him but why was he doing this to me?

As I lay on my bed, I felt something burn and when I focused properly, I knew it was my heart that was burning. I wiped the tear that was escaped from my eyes and stood up, closing my window and shut the curtain without taking a single glance at my neighbor's window.

Stomping my feet, I decided to change the password of my wifi to 'Asshole'. I got back to my bed with a wicked smile before I drifted off into a victorious sleep.

I woke up in the middle of the night because my throat felt dry. I think I needed some water. I mentally noted that starting tomorrow, I will set a glass of water on my table before going to sleep.

I slowly got up from the bed but I froze halfway when I saw someone's silhouette was clear through my curtains.

I held my blanket tightly to my chest when Jeonghan suddenly jumped into my bedroom. He looked angry, very angry. I could see how his lips pressed together and his hands clenched.

"What do you want?" I swallowed hard.

He didn't answer me. Instead, he sat on my bed pulling me closer as he crashed his lips onto mine. I was so shocked and my heart froze in place. Butterflies went crazy inside my stomach.

He started to move his lips but I was still starstruck that I didn't even know what I was going to do. It just told me how inexperienced I am.

I think I've already got the water I needed for my dry throat. He then pulled away and I looked at him. His eyes glint with amusement but not as much as the desire he's been showing to me.

"Now give me your new password!"
