ONE HUNDRED AND TEN

Drawing in a deep breath, Jenny pushed the door to her car open and climbed out. She adjusted her skirt, dragging the hems down as she looked up at the hospital. She drew in a shaky breath. She couldn't believe that it would come to this. She thought Jayden would just accept her word for it. But he didn't do that. No. Instead, he insisted that she come to the hospital for a check up. Her heart was thumping loudly in her chest. If Jayden ever found out that she lied to him, he would hate her forever and she couldn't bear for that to happen. She loved him, maybe a little too much. Why was he so hard for him to love her back? She asked herself as she walked into the hospital.

With her heart beating loudly in her chest, she looked around and her eyes landed on Jayden. He looked like he was on a phone call. He sighted her and frowned a bit. She started walking towards him.

"Hey," she said in a surprisingly subdued tone.
