~Zara Todd’s POV~ 

 I just don’t understand this. How can some people be so much selfish? How can they only think about themselves and not about anyone else?  

We are driving to the hospital to meet Melanie right now. I don’t know how she is but I want to see her so badly that I ask Xavier to drive me out of school right now.

“Zara! She will be fine,” Xavier places his hand on my shoulder and I steer my head towards him. My eyes are tired of crying for her and I am so much worried about the worse scenario that might come in front of me. 

“You know Xavier, it’s a lie. It’s a complete lie,” I say and he turns his head in another direction. Both of us know what is the situation of her. So, it’s hard to believe some comforting words right now. They don’t satisfy me at all.
