Chapter 17

The night has passed by. Aesthelia's eyes saw the light that came through, which meant that the sun had already come up. Vampires have always been sensitive to the sun. They can't withstand it, but if they have enough energy or drink enough blood, they can. They can roam around freely underneath the blazing sun.

Aesthelia was trying to distract the vampire with their conversation all night. It was a success because it was already dawn. 

No one came to rescue her until now, though it might actually be hard to find her. Aesthelia was still hoping that the others could smell her scent at least; that's the only trace of her being there. 

"What do you say, Ivan?" Aesthelia asked what his answer was to her proposed deal. She said she would lend a hand in assisting his purpose of breaking through the territory.
