I prepared a huge breakfast for my mate. Lori came in pushing me away from the stove, telling me to sit.

"Looks like you're both early risers and I'll need to come earlier," Lori mumbled softly.

"It was just an odd prior evening and isn't a normal thing, so no need to change your work schedule," Vlad said firmly and Lori nodded and continued with her duties. She took over cooking for me.
