“Please enlighten me. What gives you the right to bring strangers to my territory? This is the second time Benjamin and I can see a pattern here. I don’t collect strays like my father used to do. Look what it had done for him.”
Benjamin looked down and played with his fingers before responding.
“I’m sorry alpha, but I told you before that Katy’s pack is looking for her. This is alpha Cain and his beta Daniel, they are here for Katy.”
I turned to look at the two men, unimpressed.
“You should have been here a week ago, alpha. What took you so long? And how the fuck did a member of your pack get kidnapped?”
The alpha narrowed his eyes on me. I think I have hurt his pride, but I felt angry about what had happened to the poor girl.
So fuck him and his pride. He should have done something to prevent this.
