Worse Mistake Ever

After Kyle turned Helen down and rejected her proposal, Helen felt rage running through her veins. She wanted to take revenge for turning her down. She thought herself highly and thought he would never refuse her.

"What did he consider himself? Is he the prince of some state or a king? What does he think about himself? Who gave him the right to turn everyone down, especially a girl like me who has everything? I'll make him regret his decision to turn me down. He thinks highly of himself. He cares about his ego the most, which he acknowledged as his reputation or self-esteem. I'll make him pay for turning me down."

"What do you want to do? Just leave it. We have already told you that he is not like someone who will pester you or fall for your beauty. Ashlyn is much more beautiful than you, but what he did to her is shocking. Yeah, he slapped her only for a kiss. Don't be foolish and stay away from him." Kate tried to acknowledge her.

"Yeah, Kate is right. You have already seen his behaviour towards girls. He didn't want to engage with them, so he always stayed away. So, don't push your luck. Otherwise, you'll doom with him." Selah mocked.

"Let's see who will be doomed by whom," Helen smirked.

"What do you want to do?" Kate and Selah asked in unison.

"Just wait and watch," Helen replied with a wide smirk.

"Don't think about doing something evil. Otherwise, we won't support you." Kate exclaimed.

"Okay, fine. I'm going home. See you both tomorrow." Helen laughed and walked off, leaving them behind in a trail of thoughts.

Selah said, after she walked off,

"I also don't want to take the last class. Let's go home."

Kate agreed, and they moved towards the parking area and sat in Kate's car.

While driving the car, Kate said:

"What do you think Helen will do?"

"I don't know what her tiny brain is cooking. At most, I hope she won't call it a disaster for herself and us. Because everyone knew in Uni how calm and gentle Kyle was, but if you poked your nose into his life or tried to do something fishy, he wouldn't tolerate it and make your life like hell." Selah said.

"Hope for the good,"

Kate dropped her off at home and moved towards her.

As Selah entered her home, she received a message.

"Hey, tomorrow. I'll pick you up for university as I have some important stuff to discuss with you. So, wait for me and send a message to Kate and inform her, so she won't come to get you."

So Selah messaged Kate and informed her.

Next morning,

Helen came to Selah's home to pick her up for the institute. Helen told Selah about her plan on the way to Uni.

"Are you sure it will work? You know about Kyle, If he slapped Ashlyn again in front of the whole university. Then it would be hefty for her." Selah expressed her worry.

"No, you know our Ashlyn." When she is angry, then nobody can win over her. She won't give him a chance to say or speak anything. " Helen replied.

"But Kate. She won't agree to this. We can't use Ashlyn for this."

"Kate won't agree. That's why I didn't tell her. And come on, we are not doing something grave. It's just a prank." Helen assured her.

"But your prank could cost Kyle his reputation, and as for Ashlyn, I can't say anything." Selah explained to her. "I don't know what her reaction would be when she finds out it's a prank,"

"Fair, tell me if you are with me or not. Don't try to give me excuses, and please stop complaining to me. Nothing would happen to Ashlyn. She scarcely has to insult him. If someone lost anything, then the person would be Kyle, just him. And if the situation exaggerates or Ashlyn would be in danger. Then we could come up with plan 2. We can say it was a prank by someone. Then nobody will say anything to Ash, so tell me you are with me or not." Helen demanded.

Selah smiled weakly and nodded yes.

"That's my best friend," Helen exclaimed in excitement.

"Where were you? Why didn't you come yesterday? You didn't even tell us." Helen exclaimed, while Kate remained quiet because she knew the reason. She had a phone call with her at night.

"I have good news to share with you all," Ashlyn exclaimed, excited.

"Oh really, what is that?" Selah asked.

"I was ready to come yesterday, but out of the sudden, Sister Caroline blanked out. We sought assistance from our family doctor, Brother Noah. Caroline sis was present. checked, and you know what he told us? Caroline sis is pregnant. " Ashlyn's voice was telling. How much happier she was.

"Wow, that's great. Congratulations! You are going to be an aunt. Where is our treat?" Selah said, and Helen also congratulated her.

"No more treats. There would be a party next week." Ash was overjoyed.

"Yaayyy," everyone exclaimed.

"Caroline, Amanda, and I went to the hospital for a proper check-up, and the doctor informed us that she is two months pregnant, and the baby is healthy and growing normally. That's why I didn't come. We spent time together." Ashlyn exclaimed.

"Everyone would be super happy," Kate called out.

"Of course, everyone would be happy. It's our first baby after me, and you already know, after five years of their marriage, my sister Caroline became pregnant. So, everyone was happy." Ashlyn teared up her eyes in joy.

They talked for a while, then Helen exclaimed.

"You didn't come yesterday. But someone came and gave me this letter for you." Helen handed her a letter.

"Who was the person?" Ashlyn asked, opening the letter page from an envelope.

Kate tried to say something, but Selah pressed her thigh and gestured for her to shut up, and at the same time, Helen glared at her.

Ashlyn opened the letter and started reading. Her expressions were changing continuously.

Ashlyn's blood boiled when she read the letter.

"Where the hell is he?" She yelled.

"What happened, Ash? Calm down." Kate tried to calm her anger.

But Ash stood on the grass and moved towards the corridors. She was looking for him as a predator looking for his prey. Kate was trying to stop her, but Selah stopped her. And Helen provoked her. Finally, she found him in the café.

He was reading a book while sipping his coffee. Ashlyn approached him and slapped him on his right cheek. He didn't move his head for a minute from his titling position. But when he moved towards the person to see, she threw the letter in his face.

"What do you think about yourself and what do you think about me? Tell me? a slut or whore. But listen to me carefully. I'm not one of your sluts. I have already told you I just kissed you because of a dare, but you took it wrong. I'm warning you don't ever try to harass me again. Otherwise, I'll file a complaint against you for harassing me." Ash shouted at him. The anger was boiling her blood.

Kyle tried to say something. But Ashlyn didn't give him a chance.

"What did you say? You are waiting for my response. So, listen carefully. You can't have me in your life, not even in your dream. You wanted me to scream under you. But I'm telling you if I saw you again close to me, then I'll shot you, or you'll be in the jail's locker. So, don't think of me as a weak girl with whom you tackle every day. I'm not someone like them, and don't ever try to think me like them." By saying this, she walked off, and Helen followed her.

She was fuming with anger. After that kiss, she felt attracted to Kyle. But what he said about her made her disgusted. She felt disgusted about the thoughts that Kyle was brewing in his dirty mind.

She didn't think about sex in her life. She always thought about the romantic and beautiful lovemaking that would be with her husband. How can he say such disgusting words? How can he insult her through his words?

She took long steps and moved towards the parking area.

Her anger was not reduced. She wanted to cry her heart out.

She wanted to console her bruised heart and soul. She felt a bang in her heart from his words. First he slapped her physically, but this time he bruised her heart and soul. She didn't know why, but she felt more than words of pain from his words.

"How can he think this lowly about me?" She screamed, reaching the parking area.

Kate came right behind her. She was panting.

Her hands were on her knees.

"Why did he say those disgusting words to me? He thought about me this way." Ashlyn gasped for air.

"That was a prank?" Kate said, panting.

Helen and Selah also came there.

"What did you say just now?" Ash shrieked.

"That was a prank. I was trying to tell you from the start, but you were not listening to me." Kate exclaimed.

"Who planned this?" Ashlyn demanded in a stern, solemn voice.

"Helen, Kate just said it. She was going to say more when the parking lot echoed with the voice of a slap.

Yeah, Ash slapped Helen's cheek.

"How could you do this to me? Do you have any idea what you just did?" Helen remained quiet.

Ashlyn stumbled, and she felt her knees going weak. She took support from her car. A lot of thoughts were coming and going in her brain. But finally, she runs towards the café.

She was happy that Kyle hadn't written that letter. She felt gleeful at the thought that Kyle hadn't thought anything like that about her. Ash didn't know why, but she was relieved that Kyle didn't consider her to be a dirty girl.But her heart was skipping beats with the assumptions. How did she slap him in front of the whole café? How did she insult him?

In between her thoughts, she reached the café. But Kyle was not there, and Ash searched the whole university for him. But he was nowhere to be found.

With her sinking heart, she decided to ask for his forgiveness tomorrow. She thought she would excuse him early in the morning in front of the whole university. She will ask for his forgiveness in the café tomorrow.

She moved towards her car, and without talking to anyone, she hopped in her Mercedes and went away.

Helen and Selah tried to talk to her, but Ashlyn went off. Kate also hopped in her car and followed Ashlyn. She knew that her friend would go to the park, and she needed someone who could console her. But like always, she won't ask for it, so she went behind her to see her.

After her going, Helen and Selah started quarreling.

"Stop blaming me. Nothing happened to Ash. She was doing some overacting. And if you want a ride back to your home, then keep quiet and hop into the car."

Selah wanted a ride back to her home, so instead of further complaining. She hopped.
