Chapter 22

"Do you have to go back on stage?" I asked Zach anxiously after we ate. He was playing with my hands.

I was getting nervous. I didn't know if I would win later. The woman in black seemed to be eager to date him. She suddenly disappeared like a bubble when I looked away from her.

His mouth twitched. "You want to go home? And steal your date?"

I laughed. "It's our last day here, why not? I don't know if I will win tonight."

He touched my lower lip. "Your wish, my always command."

Zach pulled me upright. I got excited when we were about to exit this party. It meant I didn't have to compete with other women. I was smiling from ear to ear, following him. Suddenly I bumped into Zach's back.

"Where. Are. You. Going?"

I peeked at who it was. It was Ashley. She crossd her arms while raising her perfectly thread brow.
