Carson went to the light switch, but it would not turn on.

Through the cold moonlight that came in from the window, Everly slowly began to get used to the darkness and found her vision through the faint light. She saw him going around the meeting table to make a call, but his phone was not working.

"Why aren't you answering?" She observed it all and asked, "Why are you here? Or could it be that you are the one who arranged all this?"
