Alpha Ash

Bright skies accompanied by a radiant sun lit upon the Peachmoon pack, the grand hall was filled with the members awaiting the ceremony of the new Alpha and Luna to be.

Gabrielle was dressed in a white long beautiful floral dress, her hair packed in a neat bun with two curly strands in the front, her smile was dazzling and bright, she was finally going to fulfill her dream and be mated to her mate, 

“You look beautiful” Scarlett said smiling at her, she readily ran into her arms almost crying, she had always been her support after she came back to the Pack, even when her own mate ignored her, she was still there for her.

“Thank you, I am a bit scared” she replied holding unto her fast and steady beating chest, aside from her happiness, she still had fears, fears that she might stumble and fall, fears that she might mess up the whole event, fears that Ash might deny her.

“You don’t need to be scared, you have been training for this for weeks now, just don’t worry everything would be fine” Scarlett assured and she smiled back at her.

Gabrielle took a deep breath, she looked at herself once more in the mirror, “Don’t mess up” she whispered to herself faintheartedly, 

“You are the most beautiful Luna I have been seen” Alpha Sherlock had just entered the room, his gaze on her was quite lovely, he had already accepted Gabrielle as his son’s mate and knew that she was perfect for him.

“Thank you Alpha” she replied with a warm smile, she peeked around for Ash but he hadn’t come to see her since morning.

Alpha Sherlock could understand her search, he sighed silently. He had asked Ash to check up on his mate but he refused claiming that she would be doing fine without him.

“Alpha, it is time” Gamma Brett said standing with his son Brent, Gabrielle cast her eyes on him recalling her event with him.

“Wait until I am Luna and let me see if you would be able to scold me again” she thought.

Standing before the pack members in the Grand hall was Alpha Sherlock and his Luna Scarlett, 

“Today begins a new era, a new beginning for the Peach moon pack where I would be stepping down as an Alpha and letting my son Ash rule this pack, I trust that you would also believe in him and respect him as you have all done to me” He said in an audible tone, given the Mantle he took his swearing out oath along with his Beta and Gamma.

Soon Ash stepped out in a Black suit, his dark long hair was trimmed a bit giving him a much handsome look, beside him was his Beta Damon and his Gamma Brent. 

“I Ash Sherlock accept to be the Alpha of this pack, I swear to fulfill my duties to the pack in every way possible putting the pack before myself” He raised his hand swearing the oath while holding the mantle in the other hand, his Beta and Gamma also swore in.

The whole pack members went on their knees in respect swearing submission to him.

Gabrielle came out in her beautiful dress smiling to her heart content, she clasped her hands with Ash and took her oath.

“I, Gabrielle Simon accept to be the Luna of this pack, I promise to support the Alpha in whatever decision he makes and never put my selfish desires first before the pack” she said.

“Then it is settled, I give you the new Alpha and Luna” the thunderous sound of cheering shook the hall. 

Ash eyes scanned the hall searching for one person, he didn’t care how many they were, he wanted so much to see her. When he found her, he could see the hurt and pain in his eyes and it broke him, his wolf let out a whimper, he also felt broken by her.

“Are we doing the right thing” Ash questioned himself and Hamish couldn’t give him a right answer, he instantly fell quiet after seeing Livey hurt.

Livey stood amongst the crowd trying so hard to hold her tears, it was too much for her to see Gabrielle take a position that was supposed to be hers, she could clearly see her hands wrapped with his as she smiled with a wide grin on her face. Livey was shattered and broken, all her dreams and fantasies were wasted.

She could remember the promise he made to her, it was all a lie, it was damn fucking lie, Ash had played her and broken her badly, her legs went numb and she could barely stand, she held unto Mel who was standing close to her for support.

When her eyes met his, her heart started beating, not for love but rather in regret, she wished she had never met him, she wished she had never believed in his stupid promises, a tear broke out from her eyes and she quickly wiped it off, she had to show him that she was strong, she couldn’t appear weak in front of him but it hurt so much that she couldn’t, the second tear broke out and she let it fall.

Livey was surprised by the sudden hug from Mel, she must have seen her crying  and decided to console her,

“You can cry on me” Mel whispered into her ears and she let all her tears pour on her.

Mel didn’t know why Livey was crying but she knew that she needed to console her friend.

Livey was blocked from Ash’s stare by Mel, from the position she stood and her fast breathing he could tell that she was crying and it hurt him even more. No one was allowed to leave the hall until the ceremony was over or else it would be seen as a sign of disrespect to the new Alpha and such person would be killed on sight.

Livey had to stay there watching him while her heart broke more, the chief commanders and warriors swore their allegiance to Alpha Ash and after that the ceremony was over.

Immediately the doors were open Livey ran out with Mel chasing after her,

“Open up Livey” Mel begged standing by the door, Livey was quite faster than her so when she got to her room, she immediately locked it.

“Livey please open the door, you can’t cry all by yourself” she begged hoping that her friend would listen to her, Livey had become the closest person to her and she was unhappy to see her cry.

Livey leaned on the door crying until she fell down to the floor, her knees were knitted tight to each other as she tried to suppress her muffles and cries.

Her man was finally lost to her and there was nothing she could do, she wasn’t even given a chance to fight for him, the smile on Gabrielle’s face was plastered on her mind, she had taken her man away from her without notice. She let out a shrilled scream which startled Mel outside the door.

Mel banged the door once more in fear for her, she was scared that she might hurt herself, after much avail, Livey finally opened the door and she quickly hugged her wishing to take away her pain.

At Ash chambers, Gabrielle wore a black lingerie exposing her body as she waited for Ash who was taking a shower,

“What are you doing here” he asked angrily as he saw her,

“I am here to please you, I know that today might have been stressful for you so I came to warm your bed” she flaunted her body sexily, no man had ever resisted her and she also believed she had such good charms even over her mate who would feel the mate bond.

“I know that you want me and I want you too”she touched his body running her hands on his firm chest which was hard as rock. She sucked his ears and it sent tingles down his body, Ash had to compose himself before he lost control.

“I can pleasure in so many ways” she whispered pressing her body on his, she kissed him but he didn’t respond to her kiss, she tried forcing the kiss and he pushed her off.

“Get out” he ordered,

“What the hell, where do you expect me to go to, I am your mate for Christ sake. I belong to you” she yelled.

“Leave before I push you out” he ignored her complaint, though she was his mate, he didn’t feel the satisfaction of touching her, when their lips touched it was quite different from when he used to kiss Livey, there was no sweetness to it, it felt sour to him.

“Really, is that how you are going to be towards your mate, huh.

Tell me is it because of that whore, that witch must have charmed you to react like this” she argued, he had always been thinking about her all the time, he secluded himself from her without even touching her. Not once has he ever smiled with her, he restricted her from entering his room, she was finally fed up with all of that.

“Don’t you dare call her a whore” He answered in a bellow tone, he could take insults from her but not towards Livey.

“So what should I call her then, she has wrapped you underneath her fingers to the point that you can’t even acknowledge your own mate” she reverted back, she hated Livey so much for taking away her happy life.

“She didn’t do anything, I am just not ready” he answered, her presence was making him angry, Ash knew that he wouldn’t be able to sleep soundly after seeing Livey so hurt, every time he closed his eyes all he saw was her face.

“Please leave, I need to rest” he opened the door for her.

“Fine” she stormed out hissing and muttering curses on Livey.

Her life was a total mess because of her, if she didn’t come back on time then perhaps Ash would have rejected her and taken Livey as his chosen mate. 

“I cannot let that bitch take what is mine” she yelled throwing her pillow to the floor, she had to show that she was in charge and she was the Luna of the pack.

After leaving, Ash sighed in relief, he looked out to the window and into the woods where he and Livey had memories together, the games they played, their best moments were all there, he would give anything to go back to that life, to go to his peace and happiness. She was the only one who made him feel whole, who made him feel like he was at home. 

Right now his life was miserable, even his mate could not bring him the happiness that she used to, her beautiful face was still fresh in his mind, the way she smiled at him, her usual habit of combing through her hair with her hands. He could remember almost everything about her, he wished he could turn back the hands of time and be with her again, only her. She meant the world to him and now his world was shattered to a thousands pieces to the point that he couldn’t mend it anymore.
