2. Hidden

Fallon stripped the name Golden.

She would no longer need the façade that had kept her safe these past few years.

She hurried back to her childhood home, running into a couple of rogues on her way.

However, the weirdest thing was that they listened to her, and accepted her as their Alpha without question.

So, her past life as Golden needed to be erased.

With her new pack in tow, which included members of her old pack, they made their way home.

Soon, word was spread of a pack that was accepting rouges, led by the one they called the Mad Alpha.

Every morning, she initiated new members into her pack with an oath and blood binding ritual.

Eventually, the pack had over ten thousand members and was growing, rivaling the largest of packs.

Because it was a pack accepting the old members of Destiny, they decided to switch the name to Arcadia, a beautiful name that translated to a vision of harmonious nature.

And harmonious they were.

Other packs would often come to challenge Fallon the Mad Alpha and her growing pack.

But they were sent with their tail tucked between their legs, adorned with gaping wounds and near dead as their pack members slung them across their backs, headed back to their own homelands for safety in case the Mad Alpha sought revenge for the challenge.

Every attack against them was won effortlessly.

And Fallon ruled like she had watched her father do for the first eleven years of her life.

She ruled with a firm grip on her pack, and harmony flowed through her lands for over the next couple of years.

Alpha Princess Fallon Marie Vault of the Arcadia clan, better known as the Mad Alpha, had amassed over thirty thousand members within her pack within no time.

Because of her efforts, rouges had become a thing of the past.

Although her pack was very secretive, it was also extremely wealthy and had claimed all the vacant land surrounding them.

They had built up several small towns surrounding the major city where the pack house was located, all by her fifteenth birthday.

All the top leaders, schools, orphanages, and hospitals were located in the center division.

The north division housed the security center and major companies.

The east and west division held homes and parks.

The south held the training grounds due to the rest of the land being surrounded by mountains.

No one wanted to travel through the mountains because of the dark legends surrounding them.

With people going missing, and the maze-like cave systems that housed the remains of those who had made a wrong turn or gave up along the way, the legends could only be presumed as true.

Because they were a powerful but unaccepted pack that had amassed many enemies; many unmated Alphas wanted to claim the Mad Alpha along with the vast territory and largest pack in the Americas.

The pack allowed any mythical creature safety, as well as humans.

Many hybrid children lived within its protection.

New members became accustomed to the harmony within the pack and were overjoyed to see the things they thought no longer existed in this world.

Everything within the pack boundaries was state of the art.

And because of how accepting the pack was, they amassed a large population of witches and fairies, who in return for their own personal safe haven within the pack had laid down a protective barrier to shield them from outsiders and hunters.

The packhouse was five stories and had everything you could think of.

A kitchen and dining room on each floor.

Gaming, business, aquatic, theatre, daycare, golf, gun range, bowling, and many more amazing rooms …

This was completed for the workers and visitors to relax and enjoy themselves.

Each member in the pack worked within the pack to keep everything running smoothly, and in return didn’t need to worry about anything as it was always provided.

A pack without lack, possibly the only one in the world which could account for and support its massive growth rates.

Fallon found that she had to make hard decisions, but the visions helped her along the way.

The voice in her head assisted her in ways she would always be grateful for, and her wolf Nella took over whenever she wasn’t strong enough to dish out a punishment.

She was also thankful for her Beta Chance, Ultima Kyle, Gamma Mya, Delta Casi, Zeta Heather, and Sigma Fin.

They all respected her and never over stepped her leadership without a good reason.

They knew disrespect would lead to certain death.

They learned early on that she could be crude when dishing out her punishments, and oftentimes they were so harsh and medieval that it turned their stomachs.

They had the same acceptance routine each morning, accepting members from horrible packs and rouges.

They would meet the warriors guarding the territory line and be escorted blindfolded.

Once ushered into a warehouse, they would be questioned in an attempt to see if they were lying about why they wanted to join.

Fallon, who had a knack for picking out liars, would make sure they would die a horrible death.

If they were accepted, she would then choose their position in the pack, and no one ever seemed to complain about their assignment.

The Mythical Council had their eyes on the pack but they couldn’t get anywhere near it.

Some of the representatives had lived through many life cycles and had never seen anything like the Arcadia pack.

So when the Mad Alpha finally accepted an invitation to become an accepted pack, its members partied long through the night in celebration of this big opportunity.

The visit was scheduled, but just as soon as it was, a warning was issued that if anything was attempted while on the pack's territory, they would meet their demise.

Seeing as all other attempts had failed, they decided it would be safe to attempt nothing during their visit in the upcoming week.

The legendary Alpha King and his son Apollo, the heir to his throne, would be on this visit.

He rarely made an appearance, or even aided in council work, so everyone would be on their best behavior to not offend him or his guests.

The Arcadia pack did not flow with their customs and would not bend to their will, and that was made apparent once the visit commenced.

The pack bowed only to their Mad Alpha and her subordinates, no one else.

Being that she had achieved so much in the last two years to bring a dead pack into the top place, even beating out the Alpha King himself.

The Alpha King was aware that something special was happening within the Arcadia pack.

He could come in anytime to take over, but his relationship with Selene made him privy to things that wouldn’t be available to just anyone.

He also knew his son’s mate would be there, and with him turning sixteen this year, it would be nice to see him scent his mate out.

His wolf, Smoke, would never let him get away without finding his mate.

His mate was the only one that could lift his bloodline curse.

The Alpha King would have him seen by every unmated male and female within the pack to ensure his son's mate was found.

He sat back at his desk, eyeing the information on the Mad Alpha as Selene appeared behind him to warn him.

“Sweetheart, I must warn you as your head is still hard, and your bottom is not soft after living for centuries. You can not mess this meeting up with the Mad Alpha! I’ve guided her for a long time and she has a purpose.”

“I will be on my best behavior. As the humans say, scouts honor my love!”

“Oh, do I love you? Don’t get beside yourself…”

“Well we have a son to prove our love, what move proof do you need?”

“You may have a point my love…”

The Alpha King grabbed Selene and kissed her deeply.

She felt his need for her through their bond.

She accepted him on this night, surrendering her body to him, letting him worship her the way she worshiped him.
