While walking by his side, I learned quickly that Alpha Axel didn't like to talk very much. We spent the next few minutes walking through the market, the Alpha in front and leading the way with me following behind more hesitantly, my eyes perpetually scanning surroundings to take in new sights.

Along the way, I became familiar with Axel's irritated sigh whenever I stopped to study something, which, to be fair, was quite a lot.

I couldn't help it, though, as everywhere I looked, there was something new. All these years being caged inside my room made me miss out on several things. I had no idea what it felt like going to a market on weekend, hand in hand with a friend or a family member.
