We get through dinner like last night, just asking questions and trying to figure each other out. He declines having a drink, saying he only does it on special occasions or at work events. I like that he doesn’t have to drink his stress away, he obviously works out in his gym for that.
“Would you mind if I joined you for your workout in the morning? I’m really just a cardio bunny and I lift light weights, but it will give me something to look forward to.” I give him a soft smile. I don’t enjoy working out, but I like that working out allows me to have the dessert habit that I do maintain. It’s all about priorities.

Reece My alarm woke me at 5am and at first I was really confused and disoriented. Normally I’m a really light sleeper, but this morning I feel like I got the best deep sleep I ever have in my life. I start to move and feel a weight on my left arm and it’s actually tingling with that pins and needles sensation when you sleep in one position too long. I went to move it out from under whatever was holding it down, then I heard a small noise and Lindsey rolled over facing me burying her face in my chest. Reece What the hell just happened. She’s mad at me again? What did I do now? She made her declaration about what she was doing today, then walked to the bedroom and I heard the door lock, so there was nothing to talk about or discuss. At least she included James and Brandon, so I know she’s going to be safe, but she’s planning on arriving when I can’t be there to meet her and she’s going to ‘stay out of my way’ whatever that means. I tried to wait for her to emerge from the room so I could at least ask what I did, but I needed to leave to prepare for this meeting and she was taking her time, I’m sure on purpose. Lindsey I took a lot of time to get ready to go into Reece’s company today. He always wore a three piece suit that fit him perfectly. I figured I should try to match, adding a bit of my own flare. I went through all of the clothes that Anton and Brandon picked out and settled on a fire engine red pencil skirt that hit me just below my knees with a slit straight up the back. I paired that with a black cami and a sheer sleeveless button down shirt and black jacket that was cut to accentuate all my curves in the right places. I finished it off with strappy black heels that zipped closed in the back. My hair was down with a light curl and my make up and jewelry were simple. Lindsey The day actually went pretty smoothly. The contract was just as Reece said, he was planning on making improvements, but cutting as little of the employees as possible. I set to work figuring out how to restructure and move people so that everyone would benefit more than be inconvenienced. I made a call to Ralph and let him know what was going on. Lindsey We walk into his office which is a mirror image of mine, but where mine is bright white his is all dark woods and fabrics. I didn’t get much chance to look around as I was pulled back and basically slammed against the door. “Is there anything that you wear that doesn’t make you look like a goddess?” He almost growls at me in a low husky voice. Reece “Let me walk you, I want to say hello to Angie and Anton.” I got up from my seat and placed my hand on the small of her back, guiding her out of the room. I was being tested by both of them. I don’t like it when my grandfather does it, never have. He is always putting me on the spot, especially in public, to see how I will react. He says it helps build quick thinking skills. Reece I try to compose myself as I head back to my office. I don’t know what my grandfather’s deal is. In my early twenties, he was pressuring me to marry and have kids continuing the family line.
