The eavesdropper

Charlotte lay with her eyes closed, pretending to be sleeping, but eavesdropping on both women’s conversation while they thought she was asleep. What she was doing was so exhilarating, because of how dangerous it was. These women were here playing friends with her without realizing that she was the one who had kidnapped Sebastian’s ex, almost killed her, and even had her in her custody right this minute.
