Resurrection

Finally, the massacre was stopped. The pyschotic Priest is dead. Merlin the great, saved everyone. However, dead bodies were scattered over the Kingdom, blood painted the street, but the people did not feel any grief but rather relief. Relief of surviving from the terror braught by Luci.

The massacre was so terrifying that grief did not reached the people, even with the bodies of their loved ones, they did not feel any sadness. The only emotion that they felt was relief, relief of surviving from that hellish situation.

After Luci's death, Merlin started to undo his spell, as his life is continously being taken away every moment the spell is casted. The spell of darkness that covered the whole Kingdom. The darkness started to fade, the light of the sun started to touch the people's skin. As the light reaches the people, so is Luci's remains. Luci's remains started to glow, it was bright that even Merlin's eyes could not bare to stare. As the light continued to glow brighter and brighter, a voice began to appear. It was a familiar voice, a voice that no citizen of the Kingdom ever wanted to hear.

"HA, HA, HA, even the Gods wants this Kingdom's destructions."

The voice, it was no other than Luci, the priest who was a prince. The slaughterer, the murderer, THE DEVIL.

Merlin was taken aback by this terrifying ability that Luci possesses. The shock that he felt, turned in to fear that his enemy is someone who he could not kill, an enemy that his powers could not handle. It was a nostalgic feeling, a feeling that reminded him about the deceased Demon King, a being that he could never rival.

But, Merlin is still the great sage, the most powerful mage of the Kingdom. There's always a solution. Merlin casted a teleportation skill, as his last resort, he teleported Luci to a far away place. A place that no human or any being have ever come back alive. The Cursed Forest.

The Priest lost his consciousness after Merlin casted his spell that teleported Luci in the cursed forest. As Luci regained his consciousness, he noticed that he wasn't in the Kingdom anymore. He was surrounded by endless, gigantic, towering trees. Among these gigantic, towering trees lies a beautiful middle-sized tree. Its leaves were brightly yellowish green that is filled with circled shape golden fruits surrounded by the beautiful, glimmering fireflies.

Luci felt relaxed as he went closer to the tree. He felt that the tree releases a very relaxing aura, and as he went closer and closer he felt a powerful energy that he never felt before. It was more powerful than the Power of Light, something that would help him kill Merlin, and continue his revenge.

Luci was planning to dig out the tree and get it for himself, but before he got even closer to the tree, he was stopped by an arrow that almost struck his heart.

"Who is that? Show yourself!"

A beautiful maiden appeared in the Priest's eyes. Luci was stunned by the beauty he saw. The maiden had white, glowing, snowy skin, with her beautiful crystal green eyes, along with her soft, pinkish lips. She also had a white beautiful hair, with her pointy ears. POINTY EAR! She's an Elf, a beautiful being that can rarely be seen by Humans.

"My name is Deberia, guardian of this sacred tree. I will not let you damage the sacred tree of life!"

Even with the beauty, Luci did not loose his composure and confronted her. But, he was taken aback, he could not use his power, he could not use the Power of Light.

"No powers can be used inside this barrier except the power of the Goddess, therefore, you are nothing but an ant in my eyes HUMAN!"

The maiden raised her voice proudly as she threatened the Human in her front. She began to cast a spell, a spell that sharpened her arrow.

"In the name of the Goddess of Life, spirits living in this forest, heed my command, help me sharpen my arrow to pierce the heart of my enemy, and to protect the heart of our Goddess."

A greenish energy surrounded the maiden's arrow. This greenish energy sharpened the maiden's arrow, and made it a hundred times stronger, lighter, and more efficient.

"Any last word puny Human?"

Luci did not show fear, he laughed at the maiden's threat.

"HA HA HA HA! Is this it? Is this my destiny? After everything I've went through, after everything I sacrificed, is this the end? Is this the karma for all the people that I've murdered? Is this the end of my journey you ******* Gods! Even if I die here, even if need to exchange my soul to the devil, I will still avenge my people . I will kill Merlin and the rest of the Kingdom!"

The maiden was shocked after she heard the name Merlin. It was a name familiar to her, a name that is important for her, a name that is very important for her revenge. Merlin is actually related to Morgana the traitor of humanity. Morgana was originally the Sage of the Kingdom of Alvarez, she is Merlin's sister. But Morgana was not contented, she wanted more. Later on she discovered a demon child who possesses a power that could threaten even the Gods. So, she raised the child and named him Daimonas.

Daimonas became the Demon Lord, and under him was the Seven Devils who followed his every commands. One of these devils was Trakina. She's a cunning devil that fools humans or other creatures by granting them their wish in exchange for something important from them. One of her recent victims was the maiden's father.

The maiden could not let this opportunity go, she needs this human to avenge her father, her people. Even if she have to leave the Sacred Tree of Life. The maiden's decision is final, she already concluded that she will use this human to act her revenge.
