Punishment

“The racers are now in their cars.Rolly Mendoza,Luke Reyes and Rouge Silvenia!” All the people yelled and each one of them had their own favorites while the four of us just stayed quiet.

“The race will start in 5…”The racers started their engine “4..” Their car lights were on. “3..2...1..”and the flag went up and they drove their cars so fast through the finish line.

Rouge is currently leading.As soon as he almost reached the finish line,someone bumped into his car that caused his car to roll over.We Silvenia have stood because of shock. I wanted to shout but Rex shook his head.We just sat and watched what would happen next.

“We are sorry to say this,but the race for today is over.Rolly Mendoza,you know the punishment.GOODBYE!”

I ran to Rouge to see if he's fine but two men blocked me and told me to wait.One of them pulled a gun and aimed at Rolly Mendoza.I wanted to stop him but I was too late,he shot him in his head one time,in left eye one time and two times in his heart.I didn't do anything!I cant even help him!

“It’s cool,right?”I noticed the man beside me having a big smile and being delighted with what he's witnessing.He is the one who Rouge competed with.He has this evil eye and he is like a demon especially his eyes that have the reflection of a fire.

“R!Lets go!”Suddenly Raze dragged me away until I couldn't see the crowd.

MINUTES LATER-----

I assisted Rouge to come down the car.He has a lot of scratches,he also has a scratch on his face.This brothers of mine,so handsome but their face will just be broken because of what they're doing.Sometimes they will go home full of bruises in their faces.

“What happened?!You lose?!You’re a Silvenia but you proved me not,Rouge”,I was just surprised when dad shouted at us he was standing there for a long time waiting for us.

“Rilee,let go of him.Let him stand on his own.Let him endure the pain for him to learn that we are not in a game for us not to be serious about these things!”

I did what he said.Slowly I let go of Rouge until he stood up by himself even if he's feet are hurting and he also can't walk properly.

“The four of you,go inside and clean yourselves.No Silvenia is not respected to see.Look at yourselves.You're like beggars!”

They can't do anything but to go inside.

“Rilee Brooklyn Silvenia”, I stood up straight when he called me with my full name.I suddenly became nervous when he looked into my eyes and he looked mad.

“Mr.Silvenia?”I asked.

He sighed deep then approached me.He looks like a demon walking and has some evil plan.

“Tomorrow,you don't need to have a home study because you will study at a university.”

Gradually there is sweat on my forehead. There's a part of me being happy at the same time fear that wraps at me.Why am I nervous.Shouldn't I suppose to be happy that I'm going to study at a university?

“Where is it?”I asked him and he answered me.An answer that I shouldn't ask for.

“The Crystal Lake University,”He answered.
