I woke up to my stomach churning.
I forced myself to run out of bed and head to the bathroom only to empty it.
I felt my hair being raised in a ponytail as Damien massaged my shoulders ever so gently.
“I think that we need to call the pack doctor, baby girl” Damien said gently “I already told you that something wasn’t normal in your. Your eyes show that you’re tired and not to mention that your heart races as if you’ve been running for miles when you’re sitting on the couch or laying in bed”
I flushed the toilet, clearing out my vomit to get up from the ground and wash my mouth. Damien sighed when I didn’t reply to him and walked toward me, wrapping his arms around my waist from the back, pulling me to his chest “she’ll be coming here to check on you, you won’t need to go to the hospital”
I brushed my teeth before laying my head on his chest, leaning in to
Damien:I looked at the bathroom’s door for a few seconds, debating on whether or not to follow Natalia before deciding to do so. I didn’t want her to handle her pain alone; it was something that we were both against. The two of us had a silent agreement as not to let one another deal with our pain alone, and knowing that I was the cause of it; I didn’t want her to be alone.I knew that she didn’t understand how hard it was knowing that I would end up hurting her too, but she needed to know that they’ve drained all their chances with me so far. Killian has been playing with fire for a while now, and it was time for me to put that fire off, and I did try all other methods, this wasn’t a resolve that I wanted to take for Natalia’s sake.I wrapped my arms around Natalia who was standing by the sink, staring at her reflection. She didn’t lean into my touch, however, seeing as she didn’t pull away, I rested my chi
Natalia:I laid on the couch with my head on Liz’s lap as she ran her fingers through my hair.Knowing what my husband was out doing not only killed me inside, but scared me too.Scared me because I didn’t know how mum’s reaction was going to be. She was a mother who has been deprived from her son only to be reunited with him just recently. Her losing him was not only going to set her aloft, but was going to drive her mad.I won’t even mention Killian who would come announcing war against Damien, and judging by the way he’s been doing things lately; the man would have nothing to lose this time.Rumors have had it that he and mum weren’t on any terms, he didn’t care about her and she didn’t dare approach him. If he had let her in the pack; it was for their son who wanted to be around his mother after this many years of being forced away from her. Their relationship remained unspoken of, and her sister
Damien:I smiled when I woke up to find Natalia laying peacefully in my arms. Her hair was sprawled on my bicep as she hugged the blanket tightly to ensure that she stayed warm. Though she was a wolf and her temperature was higher than that of wolves, her being pregnant might have changed more than a few things about her.She woke up a few times breathing heavily, and it was due to our baby growing inside her. Her heart would race as if she’s been running for miles making her grow exhausted. The vampire blood in our baby’s system was draining her as the baby fed off her blood. I had to resolve into having her drink my blood more than a few times per day as not to risk losing her at any given moment.I raised myself to look at her, smiling at the sight of her relaxed features. I softly leaned down to kiss her temple, letting my lips linger there for more than a few seconds before pulling away to whisper in her ear “I love you, my sweet ma
Damien:“What is wrong, Rosalyn?” I asked answering the phone. It was very rare for Rosalyn to call when it wasn’t on season or a grand opening of one of the clubs. Therefore, seeing as she did; I knew that something was terribly wrong.“Boss, the clubs are being ambushed” she said worriedly. I could hear screaming and running around her. Men gave instructions to get out of the building before anyone got hurt, and others were calling to ask for help from an ambulance or the police.“What?” I asked standing up from the couch. Sebastian frowned in confusion, and I nodded at him to follow me.“They’re killing off the security teams, and the clubs are being burnt down to the ground, some are just being attacked on random. I didn’t know whether or not you wanted me to call the cops…”“I’m on my way Rosalyn, get the girls out of there and make sure that none of the costu
Natalia:My eyes snapped open as pain hit every muscle in my body. The clench in my stomach has been stirring since before I went to bed, but now; it only seemed to worsen, spreading across my whole body.Sensing my pain, Damien woke up and wrapped his arm around me, taking my hand in his.“Baby?”“Bloody hell…” tears fell from my eyes as I felt my insides getting torn. The smell of blood filled my nostrils and Damien’s eyes widened when he took sight of the blanket to find that it was already filled with blood, my blood. He bit his wrist and placed it in front of my mouth “Nat, baby, you need to drink this. I know it hurts, and I’ll get you the pack’s doctor. But you’re losing blood”Forcing me to drink his blood, Damien kept his eyes on me until he saw that I got an enough amount before pulling his wrist from my mouth. He kissed my temple and grabbed his phone from t
Damien:I glared at Rosalyn who just threw a knife toward my wife. Her eyes were fixed on her as if a wolf glaring at its prey. However, I could care less about whatever nonsense she had in mind. The woman was threatening my wife, and I was NOT going to let that pass without a price to pay.Her wolf growled as she glared at Natalia. Everything around her seemed to have disappeared as she kept her eyes on my wife. She didn’t dare take a step forward knowing that she would easily be killed if she dared try. Natalia’s canines were exposed as she grew protective over our son, her wolf’s instinct taking over, and I had to fight every urge I had as not to go and detach the woman’s head from her body.“You have some nerve coming here, mother” Natalia said hugging our baby, protecting him. The hardest thing for a she-wolf was to be challenged by her child, and now Rosalyn was playing with fire challenging a new mother; I knew that for
