I arrived at Lakewood and drove straight to the complex in rogue town. Racheal had told me it was no longer called that because she and Randolph stayed there, but I would never forget it. I got to the apartment and found everywhere locked. Racheal was not home, and my phone battery was dead. I did not come with a car charger, so I needed to find a way to call her. I had her phone number by heart, so I braced myself and went into town. While I drove, I remembered everything that happened in Lakewood, the hostility and the pain. Jasper was always there. He made me feel safe. Why would he do this? We had just gotten a break. I cried while I drove. I did not know what to do, really.
