Chapter twenty-one.

When I arrived back at the palace Mark and Tyson Mortaga was there.

He really is going to move up the wedding. How could he do this to me to his daughter?

“Cali, shall we go sit by the pool while our fathers talk?” Tyson asks.

Papa nodded to me and I took Tysons hand and led him toward the pool.

“What’s going on?” I asked Tyson once we were alone at the pool.

“I did,” Tyson smiled wide.

“Did what?”

“I got us out of this arrangement. Mya is pregnant and father agreed to let me be with her since he’s going to be a grandpa,”

“Xanders not going to let him back out. He told me last night he was moving up the wedding,”

“He called my father and he thought it’d be better to tell him in person the wedding was off,”

“Thank you,” I murmured.

“I hope we can still be friends?”Tyson says.
