Special CH. 03

The ocean side gives off an impression of being alive and happy with the presence of relaxing vegetation. There are evergreen estates both along and inside the ocean side. Pictures of light ocean growth should be visible along the shore. Palms trees stand tall along the ocean side getting into the rhythm of the breeze radiating from the body of the ocean. Moreover, there are hued blossoms close by, magnificent ones that light up at the sparkling of the mid-year sun.

"Look how magnificent the ocean is," says Scheriziel while letting the sun kiss her cheeks.

The royal family decided to have a one day vacation, free from all responsibility. However, the little one seemed to dislike the place as the prince plastered a disappointed look. Then, he crossed his arms and furrowed his brows while saying, "This beach again? Can't we go somewhere else, mother and father?"

"This place is memorable for us that's why we always visit this place once annually. Don't worry, we're going somewhere else next time. It's your homework then. Give us your bucket list and we'll do our best to fulfill it," Viishaun replied.

"You better make time in the future since you made a promise. You do realize how limited your time is, compared to mine, yet you carelessly offered such things," Scheriziel whispered to the emperor's ear.

"I know. I swear to give our sweetheart the best childhood, just like a normal kid. You know I always make time for both of you. You two are my utmost priority," Viishaun replied, whispering back to his wife's ear.

The emperor was about to kiss his wife when the young prince held their hands and excitedly dragged them to the seashore. They cleared their throat as they threw glances at one another.

"Looks like we can only get mushy when he's not around," Viishaun added, still whispering.

The empress chuckled and glanced at the young prince who was busy kicking the sands.

"Sweetheart, don't soak in the water yet. We're having breakfast sooner," says Scheriziel to her six-year-old son.

Shortly after, a lady-in-waiting approached them to announce that breakfast was waiting for them at the small nipa hut style.

The table was with fresh veggies and steak. And for the dessert, a pancake oozing with butter and maple syrup is also served, alongside the fresh squeezed orange juice for the prince and hot cocoa for the emperor and empress.

Scheriziel kept glancing at her son's plate only to realize what the young prince had been doing. She cleared her throat, and the boys glanced at her, wearing a perplexed look.

“Do not leave out the veggies, young man.” Scheriziel scooped veggies and placed them on the young prince's plate.

“But…" Vinziel tried to reason out, but

the empress squinted her eyes which made the prince forcibly finish his plate.

Viishaun suggested, "How about we build a sand castle while killing time?"

Vinziel hugged his father's legs as he replied, "I love that idea, father."

Scheriziel shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "Should we have a contest? Our servants will criticize our art. Then, the one who garnered the most points will have one wish only valid today. However, his royal highness must be alone while Vinziel and I are teammates."

"Tsk. Even if I have blinds, you can never surpass my skill. I'm good with everything," Viishaun replied, only to lose the result as Vinny stepped on their sand castle.

Vinziel laughed as he hugged Vinny, who has the same height as the young prince, only if the latter was in four paws. Then, the prince uttered, "I guess we have no winner, father."

After the ruined castle thingy, the family decided to lie on the sand and let the warm sand soothe their fair skin.

"Sweetheart, your seventh birthday is coming. What would you like as a gift?"

“I want a baby sister," the young prince replied innocently.

The empress sat on the sand upon hearing such a surprising wish from her son. She blinked twice and asked, “Huh? Where will you get a baby sister?”

“His royal highness told me he is always ready to grant my wish, but he needs your cooperation. Father said if I can convince you, then my wish will come true," Vinziel replied. Then he placed his hands on the empress' womb as he added, "My sister will stay here for nine months, isn't it, mother?"

"Your royal highness, what have you been teaching our sweetheart?"

Viishaun sat straight and avoided his wife's gaze as he replied, "I told him we need to draw it together so he won't be lonely alone."

"We need to talk in private later," she replied while faking her smile.

"Are you going to draw my sister, mother? Can I watch you draw her?" Vinziel excitedly asked.

The emperor and empress cleared their throat in chorus and buried their face in their palm in an ensemble.
