Chapter 56

Arielle’s POV:

What the hell was wrong with me?

I huffed, checking the patient’s files again. Devin, Richard has called him. And he had been found in the forest, bleeding almost to death.

Richard had gotten him here in time, and it was only that which managed to save the life of this warrior. I had been able to stop the bleeding and stitched up his wounds. Luckily from what I could tell there was no internal bleeding, so I had faith that our injured pack member would be healing quickly in no time at all.

However, that was not what was making me feel this way.

Choosing to take a seat in the room where Devin was laying down at in order to monitor his condition, I began to play with my hair. It was a nervous habit that I tried not to show out to people. But now that I had barely even had any rest over the night and previous day, my inhibitions were much lowered.

My mind was only on one thing - how much I had wanted Richard, our Alpha and my destined mate, to kiss me. My face warmed and I
