Mira quietly glanced around the exquisite and cozy office. Her eyes soon fell on the bouquet of red roses on the desk.

Trailing her eyes back to Arsenio, she noticed how frustrated he looked. But of course, she can't meddle in his affairs when they're not so close.

Somehow, she was glad Ms. Adele had assigned this new duty to her.

"Take the bouquet away. It's such a waste anyway!" She heard him say to his PA.

"Yes, sir." The other walked forward and took the bouquet off the desk. He bowed slightly before he exited the office.

Now alone with him, Mira decided to say something else to at least distract him from his sour mood.

"The portraits," she began, running her eyes over a section of his grand office, her eyes fixed on some paintings on the wall.
