"Adam?" I breathlessly called out.
"Yeah?" He hummed in response.
I take a step back and turn my head away, averting my eyes from his handsome face and tempting lips.
"It's probably best if I leave. I need to start packing my stuff since I'm moving in with you," I announced.
"Yeah, right. You do that."
"I'll see you later." I start to walk towards the door. I flip my hair and add a little sway to my hips as I make my way to the door. Once I reach it, I turn around and see him smirking.
I bet he liked the show.

I look at all my stuff, now neatly packed in boxes and suitcases. It's been three days since the red carpet rendezvous and I still can't believe I'm doing this.
Marriage was one thing, but living together?
Just then, my phone pings and I see it's a message from Adam.
Adam- Are you getting here soon?
Payton- I'm still waiting for the movers
Adam- Well, hurry up
Payton- Oh . . .
Payton- Hey, it's not up to me.
Payton- I'm doing my best.
Adam- I know, I know. The thing is, I have a meeting later this afternoon. I'd like to see you nicely settled in before I leave.
Payton- How nice of you
Payton- Anyway, they should be her any minute now
Adam- See you soon
I'm sure the paparazzi will put up a field day with me. I look amazing in this white with blue polka dotted singlet, blue jean shorts, a silver watch and loop earrings for accessories.
Now let's do this.

Finally!
That was the last box.
It took two hours to move all my stuff from my apartment to Adams house.
The moving van has just disappeared to get the last forgotten suitcase. As of today I am living with my boss, who I'm fake married to.
God, how did my life get so messy?
Adam shows up at that moment, like an answer to my recent thought. Adam Owens is the answer to the things messy in my life right now.
"Welcome to my home. I'm sorry- our home."
I blush a little. This house, or rather mansion was simply incredible. I've never seen anything like it.
"Do you like it?" He asked.
"Like it? I love it!"
"I'm happy to hear that. I really want you to feel at home here."
"I get that, but I'm still a bit nervous," I expressed.
"About what?"
"Well, I'm moving out of my apartment to live with my boss. I'd say that's something to be nervous about," I retorted.
Adam laughs out loud, amusement glowing in his eyes. "When you're off the clock, I'm not your boss. And since it's your day off, I'll be Adam to you. Not Mr. Owens," he chuckled.
"I'll remember that."
"Good. And after the six months are up, I'll help you get a new place," he offered.
"Really? That's really kind of you," I cheered. He merely shrugs at that.
"Come on, let me show you around before I go back to work."
After a thorough tour of our amazing home, we finally stop in front of the last unexplored room.
"So, this is it." He exclaimed, facing me. I look at him curiously.
"What is this room?" I pointed at the door some feet away from us. His mood suddenly gets a little bit darker.
"That's my room, and it's off limits," he growled. The door bell sounds, and he relaxes a bit. "Must be the moving van. I'll be right back."
After he leaves, I stand by myself in the hallway wondering what to do next. His bedroom door is slightly ajar. A little peek won't hurt anyone right?
Without thinking it through, my feet start to move towards his bedroom. I slowly open the door farther . . . and see a pair of handcuffs around his bedpost!!
I must be seeing things. There's no way there's a pair of handcuffs on his bedpost!I close my eyes and open them again.Nope, the handcuffs are still there. Who is this man, really? He's proving to be much more interesting than I imagined.I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around and give Adam my most sheepish smile knowing I'd been caught."I thought I told you not to enter my room?""I was just...""You were just what?""See, the thing is..." He arches an eyebrow and I sigh. I can't wiggle my way out of this. "The door stood ajar, and I got a little curious... So I peeked inside. I'm really sorry. I promise to stay out of your bedroom from now on."I move to walk past him but he takes a step to stand in front of me. "Where do you think you're going?" He asked."Since you don't want me in here, I thought I'd leave as soon as possible," I explained."I won't let you off the hook that easy, Payton.""Is that so?" He tilts his head to the side and smirks. "I never expected I'd get suc
I can't stop staring at the box of condoms in his drawer. He bought them today, that much was clear. And he obviously had someone on his mind when he bought the box.Is he sleeping with someone else? Maybe someone from the office? Most girls would be more than willing to jump his bones if they had the chance. Or...Maybe he's expecting to sleep with ME?I leave the office feeling confused and worried.***I arrive quicker than I thought and Adam meets me in the hallway."Did you find the contract?" He asked expectantly."Yes." I hand him the contract without making eye contact."Thank you for bringing me this," he said."Whatever." I turn to leave, but he grabs my arm and spins me around."Hey, wait a minute. Are you in a hurry or something?" He inquired."Something like that," I replied. His eyebrows pinch together and he looks me deep in the eyes. "Is everything okay?""Of course. Why wouldn't it be?" I answered with a fake smile plastered on my face."I don't believe you," he frown
"What?" I cried out, my heart pumps loudly in my chest. A honeymoon?Adam smirks and grabs my waist to pull me closer. "You heard me, Payton.""Yeah, but I just don't understand." My brows furrowed."What don't you understand?""Why would we go on a honeymoon when we're not even actually married?" I queried."There are two good reasons for that," he answered. "One, we both desperately need a vacation." Can't argue with that. "Two, it would be weird if we didn't go now that everyone knows that we're married," he finished."Oh, really? And you don't have a secret motive at all? Like getting me alone without any distractions?" I inquired, arms folded across my white night top.He smirks. "Well, I guess you'll have to find out tomorrow.""Why, what's happening tomorrow?""That's when we're leaving." He presses a lingering kiss on my cheek, and then strides out of the kitchen.God, what have I gotten myself into?***Later in the day, I quickly text Thea to tell her of my current status.
When I go to brush my teeth, the next day, I find Adam stretching in the living room."Good morning," he greeted, rewarding me with a smile."Morning," I hummed, knotting the rope of my robe lightly."How did you sleep?""Perfectly. This hotel isn't kidding around–that bed is heavenly. And waking up next to you was even better," I praised."I'm happy to hear that," he grinned. "What would you like to do today?"I put my hand in my chin, pretending to think. "How about we go to the beach?" I suggested, eyes shiny brightly."You want to hit that wave?" He asked, giving me a look of disbelief."We're at the Bahamas," I huffed, "of course, I do!"Adam laughs as I run to pick out my bathing suit. I choose a gorgeous red bikini that ties in front. Just as I put it on, Adam enters, already in his beach attire; just some smug shirts that didn't leave much to my imagination. His eyes rove over my body as they drink me in. I see his Adams apple bob up and down as he tries hard to hide how attra
"I really needed that massage. I feel a lot less tense now," Adam remarked, an hour later as we walked back to our room."Me too. We should do that more often," I concurred."I have massage oil back at my house. Maybe next time, we can do it on each other," he suggested with a wry grin. I blush, suddenly imagining him pouring oil all over my body, touching me.Maybe he'd reach between my legs, work me up and then . . . "You okay?" Adam asked and I coughed trying to get the dirty images that just appeared out of my head."Yeah, of course," I stuttered, "that sounds nice.""Let's go out for dinner tonight," he suggested. "We need to appear the happy couple, remember? Especially since Nina is here . . . I bet she's keeping a close eye on us," he scowled."You're right," I agreed. "I can get ready in fifteen, does that work?""Perfect. I'll wait for you downstairs," he said and leaves me to get ready. I start doing my hair and make up.I want to look sexy tonight so I put on an orange se
"What the–"Before I can finish my sentence, Ethan rushes down the corridor and out of my sight. I stare at the empty trail he left behind, shocked. He must have been spying on us! What a creep! I need to tell Adam about this . . . he'll be livid.I slam the door shut and run up to Adam. I find him sitting by the bed, looking incredibly hot in just his boxers. I'm distracted for a second and almost forget what I was about to tell him."You look bothered. Is everything okay?" He asked as I reach him."No, I just found Ethan outside our door!" I revealed, discontent laced in my voice."And?""He was spying on us! What should we do?"Adam picks up his phone and starts dialing a number. He must be calling the police, good thinking."This is Adam Owens," he announced once they answered. "I need towels in our room as soon as possible. What kind of hotel is this if you don't provide your guests with fresh towels everyday?" He fumed, "I'm on my honeymoon, and i paid a lot of money for this ro
I step close to him, reaching out to touch his abs. But before I make contact with his skin, I lower my hand over the bulge in his pants. A corner of his mouth slowly turns up. "You want this inside of you?" He grinned. Instead of answering him, I unbuckle his pants and take his hard member out. He groans as I stroke him up and down in slow motion. "Faster," he ordered. I pump him harder and he closes his eyes to enjoy it. Just as I'm about to get on my knees for him, he pulls me close to him, lining himself at my entrance. He pauses for a second to kiss me hard. "Please, Adam," I begged him. With one long thrust, he is finally inside me. I moan as he pushes all the way into my tightness, filling me until I feel like I'm about to burst from desire. I groan loudly, not minding if someone hears me. He trails his lips to my neck where he licks and sucks on my skin while continuously pumping into me. His every touch sends shock waves of need rippling through me. I am drowning in t
The fruit bowl was bugged? I knew it was odd when it arrived earlier. Not as odd as receiving something that wasn't ordered."Remember the "fruit pit" I threw out the window?" He asked, air quoting fruit pit."It wasn't a fruit pit, was it?" I asked, stating the obvious. I knew it was weird for a strawberry to have fruit pits."Nope," he shook his head.My eyes grow wide, and a million thoughts start to go through my brain. Adam must have noticed it because he came to my side and held my hands."Relax, Payton. We didn't say anything suspicious, and I threw the mic away as soon as I spotted it," he reassured, rubbing my arms in a soothing pattern."Damn. That's just messed up," Paul exclaimed."Do you always swear that much?" Thea remarked with a small frown."He's got the mouth of a sailor, you'll get used to it eventually," Adam sighed.Paul shrugs and turns to Thea who returns the smile. Getting sidetracked, I try to bring them back to the matter at hand."What are we going to do ab
