Euphoria

Stunned silence followed Theo’s words and even I was shocked, I could only stare with my mouth hung open. I turned to Damon to see he was looking at Theo, his lips twitching - he wasn't angry, not even in the slightest, in fact, Damon was utterly amused.

“Theodore, for goodness sake!” Alex barked.

My dad approached him and angrily grabbed him by the collar.

“Have you gone mad?” He yelled. “I understand your grief and anger but challenging the Alpha, do you realize what you're saying?”

Theo struggled to get away from dad's grip, shoving him off.

“I know what I am saying and I stand by it. The Alpha has gone weak and whatever is happening and will continue to happen to our pack is because of him!”

Dad swung his arm and punched Theo squarely on the face, he crouched holding his nose and when he rose with his eyes blazing with anger, blood trailed from his nose.

“Who knew we had no freedom of speech in this pack?” He asked in a sarcasm-laced tone.
