A couple of days later, Ruby made breakfast for Nate. He was doing better and they spent the night together in the comfort of each other’s arms. She was content with how her life was going.

Maria was a little relieved as most of the time, Ruby did the cooking while Nate washed the dishes.

“I brought some more groceries,” Nate announced as he placed the paper bag and moved to hug her.

He had just come back from his morning run.

He decided to return to work the next day.

She hugged him back as she placed a kiss on his forehead. It was now normal for them to place kisses on each other’s faces as a show of their affection. Although they didn’t say it to each other’s face, it was obvious that they both wanted to take things really slow and see where it was headed.

“What are you doing today?” He asked, he wanted to take her for a walk in a private park

“I’m staying at home today, just to chill”
