But there was something weird about the quadruplets that Daniel kept on thinking about. Their eyes and most of what they do remind him of his old best friend, Alfred.

He quickly shook off the thoughts, maybe he was the one overthinking things. He coughed slightly and the kids turned to him.

“Uncle Daniel, where is mommy?” Isabella asked

“She’s outside taking fresh air, “ Daniel said as he walked toward the kids and sat beside them.

“How’s your leg?” He asked

“It’s okay, At least better than yesterday, “ Isabella said with a shrug

“Why didn’t you let your school or your nanny call your mommy? Don’t give me that look, Isabella, I know how convincing you can be” Daniel said and Isabella sighed sadly

“I didn’t want mom to be worried about me. I know how she acts when she’s worried about us. It makes her cry sometimes” Isabella said and Daniel exhaled deeply. He could understand the kids cared for their mommy so much and they hate to see her in tears.

“But at least, you c
