Inside the rain

Chapter 137

After Lisa had picked up the children from school, she went home as usual and did her normal routine. It was late before they had gotten home because it was raining.

She had to prepare dinner so she asked the kids to stay in the sitting room and do their assignments while she prepared dinner for them.

Lisa walked inside the kitchen and stared outside through the kitchen window. It was rainy and heavy out there followed by the sound of thunder. She locked the kitchen window and walked toward her fridge. She opened the fridge staring at it not knowing what to cook. She then decided to cook spaghetti, Bolognese.

She brought out some fresh carrots from her fridge and also brought some green pepper, cabbage, beef, onions, and garlic. She put them in the kitchen cabinet. She brought out two packs of spaghetti and a clean pot.

Just then she heard her children's voices from the sitting room. She dropped the pack of spaghetti and the pot on the kitchen cabinet before walking out
