73: Get Out

A faint ray of sunshine passed through the glassy window pane and touched a face covered in white bandages. The bandages mainly covered the forehead and the right eye. The brief dance of warm sunshine caused his eyelid to flutter and his pulses to quicken.

The patient's whole neurological system, including his throat, was startled by the abrupt increase in blood flow.

His chest began to bounce wildly. Shoving his spine forward, forcing him to rise while firmly pushing away the white bed cover that was concealing his waist.

Creed sprang from his bed, gasping for air. He was coughing quite terribly. Fortunately, a hand descended on his back and began to thoroughly rub it. Creed also noticed a glass of fresh water in front of his eyes and grabbed it without thinking, drank as quickly as he could.
