Chapter 53

"What time is it?" Noah asked, groaning. He haven't slept much last night.

"It's 2 in the morning, sir," Karl replied yawning his way to the door. He had been doing paperworks and it's just now that he's leaving for home.

"And where the hell are you going?"

"Ahm, home, sir?"

"Home? Why?"

"Because I even did an over time?"

"Stay. We need to finish all these up,"

"Sir, I have been working when you were asleep." But Noah did not by his excuses and dragged him back to his table. Karl could not do anything but put his hands over his shoulders.

'Darn salary!'

Karl was about to open his laptop again when a text message caught his attention. It was from the private investigator that Noah hired to keep an eye on Yanna.

He does not know the whole detail and though he pestered Noah to explain why he's tailing Yanna, he could not get an answer.

Noah is the type who values privacy above all else. That is why even though Karl has been telling him not to trust anyone even Yanna, Noah never listened.
