Chapter 52. Follow

Because of thinking about Doris, it was not until midnight that Keelin could go to sleep.

After making sure that Keelin was asleep, Lars's red eyes fluttered open, and he turned to kiss her lightly on the forehead before flipping the blanket over and getting off the bed.

Out of the room, Lars stopped in front of the large window in the middle of the hallway, he raised his hand to push it, and one of the glass doors popped open.

Immediately, a man suddenly appeared jumping inside through the passage that Lars had just opened. As soon as he entered, he was grinning

“Old friend, suddenly calling me like this, it must be something important.”

“That's right.” Lars glanced at the man. “But before that, put off that smug look on your face, Harold, you look nauseous.”

The smile on Harold's lips immediately disappeared. Having known Lars for decades, he still couldn't get used to his attitude, looking like he wanted to fight.
