Chapter Sixty Nine

"Your boss isn't loosening up right?" Eve said.

Olivia nodded. "All he does is complain about all we do. The whole job is getting frustrating."

"Give him more time. He's obviously new and would want to show you guys how much of a strict man he is. He will come around." Eve replied.

Olivia shook her head. "That man is a perfectionist Eve. It's been three whole months and he is still the same. He thinks we are robots or what? Damn, I miss Mr. Charlie. He was a pain in the ass I agree but he was way cooler."

"You'll never know the value of what you have until you lose it."

"If I had another option, I would have left the factory a long time ago," Olivia said.

Throughout the whole period that Olivia was speaking, Eve's entire attention was fixed on the door to her bedroom.

"I'm sure you haven't had breakfast. Maybe you could go down to the store and get us some fresh cookies. I'll fix tea." Eve suggested.

"No thanks. I'm not hungry. You can go get the cookies yourself. I'll just sit here."
